Hey Sebastian, remember me?? Whatever...I just saw you with Soul Coughing a week ago for the first time (with THEM, that is). You're all over the place. I've listened to some old tapes of Electric Children recently (remember THEM??), and it's incredible how tight you guys were, especially you and Joe, who I've seen a couple of times lately (with Dave Chaisson). I wish you guys would get together again sometime. Anyway, Adam's a great guitarist and I shot a lot of footage of him with Laurie Sargent that I was thinking of posting, but maybe I shouldn't (I get kicked off, occasionally). O.K, later.

I just wanted to mention to mark that many years ago I took my family to Florida and as a guitar player will usually do .. they'll seek out a music shop while away on holiday ... so when I was paying for a set of strings the guy notices my surname on my bank card ... he asks me if I was related to Mark ,as he lives here Orlando and uses this store ... well I was flattered indeed .. I said no but how there are not many musicians I know with the Egan name :)) Keep up the great playing Tim ..

Tom Kennedy is one my very favorite bass player since the record Step it by Bill Connors came out He is so relaxed on stage while playing quite complex music that it is very impressive

Fun Interview with a legendary Bass Instructor. His Finger Funk books are really challenging workouts in rhythm. I've spent hours (and hours) practicing them and taken away some great patterns and riffs.

Hey Ryan, nice breakdown of this classic funk bassline from Bernard Odum and noting Bernard's "honoring the part" and sticking to the fundamentals. Totally agree with that and really strive to do the same in my own playing.
