Hey @robertbell1651 how this thing running this far, any issues or fixes. Im actually one pulling for PAC but hear various mixed experiences. Some say they are horrible and others say diamond in the rough.Thinking about getting one but doing my research, any input helps.
I have a pioneer 556 and it is over gassed. Threw in an alg stronger recoil spring and it's perfect. It's not ideal long term but I don't care. This is my beater gun.
You didn't do anything else other than drop in the bolt and carrier from WBP? Its still running good? Ordered a Pioneer last night and with them going out of business I'd like to run the WBP parts instead plus my WBP has been flawless so why not if it works.
When you bought the WBP bolt, did you get the updated spring loaded bolt? That appears to be the only version that arms of America sells currently. Will the stock bolt work with the WBP carrier?
I'm doing the same thing and from what I read on the AOA site is the size of the tail of the bolt may not fit into the carrier so they recommend buying both. I personally recommend both because the stock carrier on the Pioneer is cast not forged. As far as I'm concerned it's a great upgrade anyway and I believe the carrier is only around $70
I’ve been wanting a trainer or a beater ak in 5.56. For the cost the PA 5.56 ak fits the bill as well as keep the mileage down on my other akm’s. Thanks for the video and nice handgaurds.
Go with the zastava. Much better quality. Pioneer arms has too many QC issues. The finish on mine is terrible. I have a pioneer arms ak in 5.56 with over 2000 rounds and I had to polish/use a dremel on the throat of the chamber just to get it to feed properly. Way too many jams from factory. The extractor is garbage so I replaced it with a beryl extractor and that helped a ton. The firing pin on mine broke at just 800 rounds and good luck buying extra firing pins cause theyre always out of stock. I had to call their warranty people several times just to get a replacement
I'm racing a governor trying to ban everything and I can't make up my mind I already have others but is this gun worth the money??? I need to order soon and need an old school ak guys honest opinion it's going to be an apocalypse project and need a solid base for a low price
If you're going to shoot 223 an ak is not a good idea period I love my aks and have many calibers but 223 it's not worth paying more to get less an AR is cheaper better accuracy and was made for the round .then the optics issues on ak make it a no go no matter who made it
I have an M90 and I've been debating about getting one of these just for akm parts compatibility. Have you had any malfunctions or unusual wear after your rifle surpassed 1k rounds?
Are you using the complete bolt carrier or did you swap the gas piston from the pioneer bolt carrier? I’m noticing that the WBP bolt carrier doesn’t always close all the way forward (maybe about an inch open) after I charge it. Did you have the same issue by any chance?
I got the Wbp bolt and carrier but I’m noticing that I’m having issues with the round going in battery. I’m thinking it’s a mag issue, because I’m using Bulgarians…should I only be using polish mags for this combo to work?
I got the same modernized 7.62x39. Perfect gun for cqb if you upgrade it with some decent magpul mounts, red dot and etc.. I have seen some AR clones recently with 1k USD scopes mounted on them at the competition that failed at the start due to DF and the likes. It's not a sniper rifle by no means but neither is any AR. If you need a sniper rifle, go somwhere else. This guy may require some more additional bullets to hit, but when It hits, it hits hard. Reability counts.
Happy to hear the video helped. If you have any questions reach out I might not get back right away but I will get back to you. Thanks again have fun shooting that awesome rifle.
@@hensliit’s almost like ARs have been made domestically since the 50s and AKs have been made domestically since the mid 90s it’s almost as if 40 extra years of build and manufacturing lowers the cost of production significantly raises the demand and thus lowers the price who woulda thought
I have was wondering if the WBP would fit as I have it in my cart at Arms of America. I know they changed their firing pin to spring loaded instead of free floating.is that what the bolt comes with? And thanks for the information, very helpful.

How is the gassing? Does it throw spent cases into the next county?

How many rounds have you fired through it? And have you tried to shoot .223? Also the finish on mine is terrible you must have gotten a good sample

I ran into a dilemma here - this PA 5.56 AK or Zastava M85 556 ??
You can have a PA 556 AK and 1000 rounds of 556 for the same price as just the zastava

@4GUNZZZZ Thanks. I'll pick up the Zastava M85 soon.

Stop tempting me devil!
Why would there be issues by having a mag loaded for 3 weeks 😂😂 my mags are always loaded 🤙
Apparently you don't know enough about AK's to answer your viewers 🙄 why even have a channel 😏
Wdym
What type of magazine is that?
WBP

Can u shoot 223 with This Ak chambered in 556 ? Thanks
Any rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO or .223 WYLDE is able to shoot 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO

Were you ever able to resolve this? I was considering trying out these parts myself
@@SamplersAndThings Yea, stick to polish mags…. Doesn’t happen with the pioneer mags. The bolt carrier upgrade doesn’t care for Bulgarian mags.

Why didn't you try the mag it came with? And the beryl Polish 556 mags work best in this.
What hammer forged parts did you use, because I m thinking of buying one of these in the future. Thanks.
Would you trst your life with this rifle, i hear alot of different things about this rifle
Nice vid 🔥 Would it be possible to put a link on where you got the the WBP parts reason being I just ordered the pioneer arms forged 556
Arms of America
Huh I didn't know Wbp bolt and carrier worked with those 5.56 AKs odd, I knew the beryl parts worked

I bought the wbp bolt and carrier because of your previous video. Thank you for letting people know about that!
That’s great! You will really like it. Happy to help.
Would just buying the wbp bolt work? Would it fit in the pioneer bolt carrier?
No, WBP has a proprietary spec (for whatever reason) for their 5.45/5.56 bolts/carriers.
thanks for the quick overview been looking at one for a fun gun and wondered if their where parts to upgrade if possible thanks for the video!
Funny a cheap AK is $700 and an entry level AR is only $400. 🤠
You just not be checking very hard…

m y carrier on 556 UF has what i hope is just a deep scratch or hair in the mold i guess - but its got two groves in side of it
where did you get that bolt/carrier> is that headpsaced or do you have to head space yourself?
I got the bolt carrier from Arms of America. It’s made my WBP, I got it with the bolt as well and when I installed it the headspace was perfect.
@@robertbell1651 how did you know it was perfect? you use go/no go?
