So let me get this straight.......Joseph didn't have Jesus.....the Old Testament didn't have Jesus.....the Creator of everything (God the Father) hadn't revealed the Son (God the Son, Jesus Christ).....Jesus was one of many children of God......Let me answer each of these because what y'all are saying is close to if not blasphemy and heresy. Joseph did have Jesus because the Bible teaches that Christ and God are one ( John 10:28-30, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30I and my Father are one. Jesus was in the beginning. He was there before the foundations of time and the world. He created it. John 1:1-3, 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Now English is a very stupid language so let's put a LITERAL translation from the language that GOD wrote it in. (Parenthesis isn't part of the verse) John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God (not just any God but THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH. Christ was with GOD in the beginning) and God (referring to THE GOD) was the Word (Referring to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST). God had revealed the Son. Go back to John 1:1-3. And also the promise that God gave to Adam in Genesis 3. Look at Genesis 2. God (Christ) walked in the garden with Adam and Eve on a daily basis. God has ONE "Only begotten Son" The Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that HE (God the Father) gave HIS only begotten Son (The Lord Jesus Christ, The Messiah) that whosoever believeth in HIM (Jesus Christ) shall not perish but have everlasting life". To 'TheChristianOPM' and 'adrianloveslucius' i suggest and strongly urge you that you stop spreading these lies that I've seen in these comments. Go to the Word of God and study the Scriptures. There is no contradiction that we must worship the Father, The Creator of all things but let not also forget that the Father thought us to worship Him through Christ. You can not go to the Father without Christ, Who is the Way Truth and Life

Worship the Creator. Jesus was one of his many many many children. He gave his life for the whole earth to be able to return to the Creator. It's a beautiful thing, but Joseph was speaking to the Creator, not Jesus... His ancestor Abraham was spoken to by the Creator directly. So was his father.
