I dont believe that means after resurrection.. Because it says mortal bodies.. Our bodies won't be mortal in the day of redemption, besides almost every Word from the Gospel is positive.. Remember Marta saying how Lazar will live after resurrection, but Jesus says f... that, i am resurrection and life.. And besides if the Gospel would be only message of hope after death than the Gospel wouldn't even be joyful message, if you have Living God after you die than you should worship God after you die.. Not to mention that entire context of the Bible is completely opposite from God who gives life only after you die.. If one would claim that, than He would literally have another God, different from the God of the Bible.. The Gospel message is all about positivity and hope after you die and get to heaven ?.. If that would be the case the Gospel would not be any different from any other religious messages of today, but the Gospel just as the entire Bible is about hope, hope in this life, just as hope in afterlife.. Its why David said : i am confident to see goodness of God in the land of the living.. God is glorified in the land of the living, it is not the Gospel to preach about land of the dead..
