soap stops them from breathing. They breathe thru their shell. Dish washing liquid and water in a spray bottle does the same thing.

Unfortunately, I've only used this brand but I've heard it's basically just boric acid, so any brand in powder form should be sufficient.

Boric acid is in used in a lot of things such as antiseptic for minor burns or cuts, it's a main inactive ingredient Visine eye drops, it's also used in many laundry detergents, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, lotions, soaps, mouthwash, toothpaste, astringents, and eyewashes. Yes, boric acid is toxic if ingested in large amounts of quantities (e.g. spoonfulls), but almost anything in your home that isn't meant to be food is toxic in large amounts of quantities.

have you looked up exactly how much it takes for it to be dangerous for pets? Your dog would have to go over and like just start licking it up. it takes GRAMs. You might not be a chemical enjoyer. But a gram is actually a good bit of the powder. Your dog would have to be a very special dog because they would have to literally go out of their way. Personally im mixing it with egg and sugar its supposed to be a good bait but im still working on my formulation. For Context tho. When i first started researching this and made my first batch these people had my so scared of it. So i was handling it like anthrax. I have been kneading it by hand and no irritation or anything. Dont get me wrong your hearts in the right place. But your dog would have to be a special kinda dumb to eat that much of it.

Congrats! Glad the video was helpful. What position? If it's not too much to drag with you in luggage, i'd recommend bringing it. I brought my PS2 for 2 contracts and it was worth it. I'm not even much of a gamer but it does help to just immerse yourself in another world for a little while. Great way to make some new friends and could get some cabin parties started, too.

It could depend on position and ship. However, I only worked Celebrity and NCL, you've got your contract with NCL America. The American one I heard is very different (super strict on alcohol policy, most officers are former US Navy, etc...). I couldn't give you my personal experience of it, only what was relayed to me. You'll still be able to have a good time either way. It's bout 90% American crew and 10% Foreign, American Flagged, and in American waters the entire duration. Whereas other lines I have experience with are like 99.6% Foreign and .4% American. Sailing under the Bahamian Flag and frequently in international waters.

@@workoncruiseship If I like this I plan on maybe doing 2-3 more in Hawaii and then try to get onto an international ship I’m ex military active duty army so I think I can handle the workload and I’ve heard about the alcohol restrictions luckily I don’t drink much

there is this recipe of egg yolk sugar and boric acid. i been using it and it seems effective. Im concerned cause its not working as well as i expected. But all natual peanut butter might be better cause some roaches have an adversion to sugar.

If you're still struggling, try Ortho Fire Ant Killer. Only one bottle will take out an entire infestation. Use it like a roach bomb, sprinkle along baseboards, behind appliances and furniture. Ensure all windows are closed and leave your house for a couple hours (because this powder smells like sour collard greens mixed with a broken garbage disposal) then air out your house for an additional 2 hours. You will not see one roach ever again. Thank me later!

The exterminator came twice and treated my home but I still saw them 😢. Roaches hates this stuff, they will leave your house/apartment.

Actually what he says there is also a I95 documentation form.

The I-95 form is known as the Crewman's Landing Permit, and it's a document that shows the date you arrived in the U.S. Not only that, but it also shows how long you're allowed to stay in the U.S., and that is indicated by the date when your authorized stay period ends

@@beebeeramone4641 I think it works more like a repellent. You place it in areas they frequently cross. If they come in contact they will die within minutes usually under an hour. They do collect the powder and take it back to their colony which destroys it. If you have an infestation you will see a huge improvement within an hour. After 2-3 days they will be gone and will not return as long as you keep the powder down in the "hot" areas (behind fridge, appliances, under sinks, etc.). I feel like I'm advertising this stuff so much 🤣 but i cannot gatekeep this stuff because if you're like me and have phobias of these disgusting creatures you will preach whatever actually works!

Lol- I def knew of a few people who did indeed take a cruise for a week on their vacation. However, for me personally, I avoided them at all costs. Even after I resigned from ships, some family wanted me to take one but I refused haha. No specific reason, it just didn't fit well with my personality to be a guest on board.
