I will support you
I’ve asked people a few times through different parts of life what the hell was the crazy gerbil coaster game. This is the first I’ve seen of it in 25 years at least! Probably last saw it on a PowerPC mac in 3rd grade! Thank you for posting!
Those sounds you are hearing whenever you click on buttons and moving windows is known as the Platinum sound which is a thing in Mac OS 8.5 and up.
They always choose to third one
Thanks for digging up this gem, it's one of my favorite memories

I wish the steam version of wolfenstein 3D was this one, and not the dos-box cheap remake
Great
Thanks for posting these!!
the limit is not your 288 megs of total ram but the application ’s SIZE resource (editable via Finder’s Get Info)
This music!!! Haven't heard it in forever core memory unlocked
Such beautiful pixel art. Such lovely midi compositions.
loved this game
I can’t stop thinking about this game! Ambrosia rocked! And my in real life office chair just lost a wheel…
Man, the sounds take me back. I had this game growing up, along with several other Mac releases like Prime Target and Damage Incorporated. Thanks for the up!
Hey, you're the guy that has all the small cars right?? haha who knew
We had this game on our Computing machines in school in the late 90s. Last day of school before break we used to play this! It was cool! My family could not afford a PC at the time so i loved this game
I remember this game. Oh, the memories...
I enjoyed the 1995? version in the early 00s the background was a jungle theme and those naughty monkeys would tell a joke or do something funny to distract you. I had more fun with that than the games. It was fun!
They look like the things from veggitales
Oh man, I loved this game. I wasted so much time in college playing this 🤣
Oh,the good times
Thank you, for posting this great video. Sorry to be, so late to the party but, during this time period was when, I really started to check out the Macintosh desktop systems. The model, I like the most in this video was the 6100 Power PC which, was shown with a 14-inch color monitor with built-in speakers. With the addition of a PC card, this model could also run both Windows 95 software and Apple software which, at the time was extra special. In 1996, I picked-up my first Apple desktop computer an All-in-One 5400 with a 603e processor, an internal Apple video card system, plus an internal Apple TV/FM radio card system with its matching black and white remote control. Years later, I also added a G3 upgrade card (smile...smile).
U don't wanna know how many hours I sunk into this game as a kid lol
05:09 This is the best example, why you should never ever stretch 4:3 content to 16:9 aspect ratio. It just looks awful, unless you believe the TOS Enterprise had oval saucer.
You can change the game speed on the preferences. The problem with emulators is that the game runs too slow but the scrolling is incredibly fast. Here on real hardware the scroll speed is correct but the game speed needs to be bumped up a little.
Thanks I will look in the preferences.
Give it a full run! You won't regret it.
Someone might actually need to read that cursed f-ing manual. 😂 Otherwise it's pretty encouraging to try out yet again!
Same features as the second game, just a lot slower.
Sending more than one unit to a mine can make it mine gold faster.
Time consuming, but i never rush strategy games. Plus when i keep everyone at the Hall, i can defend my area from enemies.
Never had the first one, but my strategy in the second game was always to build a ton of farms and mine all the gold and chop all the wood i could and build groups of Orcs that i would send out one at a time. Sometimes I would send one guy out as a scout who would either run back if he saw trouble or get killed on the spot. Then I'd send the stronger Orcs with upgraded weapons from the Mill. Upgrade twice just to be sure.
Yoooo I remember this as a kid. It was a point and click game.
Sadly this game does not work well under emulators. The timing is off; the scrolling is too fast and the unit movement is too slow. I’m surprised you stuck with it.
Please be careful stacking your old Macs, the plastic gets brittle over time and will crack apart. I had my monitor sitting on top of mine and it eventually sunk in over the years.
Does anyone remember when the flying toaster would appear randomly amongst the fish?
I do

I still find myself going "AAA-AAhhh.. SPAAAACESHIP Warlock!"
I used to absolutely crush this game. At like age 12 😂
"I like that it has a wide aspect ratio"... No you fool! turn back now before you ruin a decade of productivity users lives.
Just think in just a few years after this video Apple was days away from bankruptcy thanks to Windows 95
Potrzebna Polska wersja. Ktoś ma?

Lovely machine’s thank very much for posting.
Thanks for putting this up - I worked on the Mac version and wanted to show it to my daughter.
I got this for Christmas when I was a kid, I couldn’t remember the name but somehow found it!! I could never get this game to work right when I was a kid, but I also had a really old Mac. My mom bought me the joystick for it, couldn’t ever figure it out lol. Thanks for posting! Nostalgia overload
