I'm sorry you feel that way. I just wanted to give as much information as possible to anybody who feels a bit lost...

So I opened 83 bags in total and drop rate for the 3 types of runes seems relatively similar so I got more than just 2 attack runes, also if you check TL database website for items, both buff duration and skill damage boost runes actually should have the highest drop rate (9.05%) while other attack runes are at 6.3%, unless this info is just wrong... throneandliberty.gameslantern.com/items/1720606906/rare-attack-rune-weapon Also every item can have Max Health defense rune, and I didn't had a single one of those either. Max Hp is in fact lowest drop rate - 6.35% same as endurance, but as you can see I got tons of endurance runes, so something seems to be not right with drop rate...

Indeed I mean skill damage boost, and should any rune be that rare as on not having a single blue?

Also after I checked database website, buff duration and skill damage boost have 9.05% drop rate and rest of the runes have 6.3% so either the website got wrong numbers or you are wrong about drop rate or, not so oddly some ppl drop rate is bugged (its not gonna be the first bug in TL right?)

@@Eyeduka yeah mine is too, i got a 2 blue Buff Duration and 2 Buff duration drop after a week.... it is indeed very rare and ive yet to find a Max Health. They should increase everything with the lowest instead of some leveling alot and some very little.

Maybe the numbers are just wrong from the database website, who knows, still it shouldn't be that rare anyway

Personaly I didnt do that, at this point if its your main, epic gear is much cheaper, dont waste your time with blue. I go for full blue only on my alt

Here's a grammatically improved version of your comment: I just wanted to share same tip: you should go to Sauro. I've gotten the best drops from there (I have 250 hours of game time). Also, don't forget to pop Rare Golden Apple Pie and Rare Soft Steamed Bird Egg, and make sure to have at least a 6-man squad. They should also use some extra food buffs. You can easily earn 8-9m this way. The highest Solant drop I've gotten is from Abyss F6 using the same strategy.

As far as I see now, when you cook food, based on the quality of materials you use you get different quantity of food produced: 1 blue = 3 foods 3 green = 2 foods 5 white = 1 food And from what I see now some of the foods will always be green, some will always be blue, there is still similar chance to get a sellable food and also no white food anymore. But the only difference was the buff time, so I feel like this is a win, because we will be able to produce a lot more buffs and also no 15 min, only 30-60 min.

@Eyeduka i See. But i have a Lot of foods now which were able to get blue and now they are 100% green, which ist quiet Bad for a food seller :D

It does seem to be like that now, but let's see of we can compensate with quantity. I think they changed it because of the cooking contracts, although I haven't seen them yet.

Yes I did notice that before a lot, hopefully it is a bit better now, also for some reason, even before patch when I open inventory it stayed on for many hours without loggin out, so,... magic :D

I did mention that I'm analyzing the skills, and indeed they could use better wording to explain them, you can easily find multiple inconsistencies. Also keep in mind it is work in progress, not a full end game build. I'm just sharing ideas here and I'm glad when people are giving feedback.

I agree with most of what you say. But ye I feel like they could've done a bit better job with tooltips. Based on what you say, even though Cleaving Roar doens't actually provoke but rather debuffs targets, it still behaves as provoking which is where the confusion comes from. Definitely I would try Fury Warblade as it would be much better. Anyway the point of single target stun is actually to enable Guillotine Blade AOE proc, but sure, it would be better to run AOE stuns with Fury Warblade. Thanks for the tips!

@@Eyeduka tooltips are a mistranslated mess, i totally get your confusion. Here's how the Roars work: Provoking Roar always provokes targets around you, even players, switching their target to you. Cleaving Roar debuffs all targets around you, reducing their endurance, but only provokes monsters. I get your point with Guillotine, and it's indeed the most efficient way if your goal is the most damage on a single hit. You buff your guillotine as much as you can. But that forces you to go for crit to get that sweet critical + heavy attack on a single hit, which forces a DEX build on you. You get squishy, but you do tons of damage. On the other hand, i prefer my tank tanky. I have only 10 dex (70-10-20-40-30), endurance everywhere, zero crit anywhere on my character, zero evasion and only atk speed wherever I can because it's the only thing I need from the DEX stat. I am literally a mountain, but no matter how much i buff my guillotine, it wont be enough without crit and I'll have to wait for cooldowns. That's what led to the skill build I listed on my original comment. Tons of heavy attack on the piercing strike, buff it as much as i can and profit from it having almost zero cooldown when I'm under a lot of attacks. The only limiting factor now is the cooldown on my roar and counter strike, but both of them are back up before I'm done pulling the next train of mobs.

I agree and for the most part I feel like splitting between 2 worlds, need to be tank for groups, but need dps for solo. In this regard I'm working on 2 builds, not just skills but also gear to make it work, it may take some time but i will get it done and have a full tanky build (shock commander) and another mostly dps, also different weapons. I will update it as soon as I manage to get the gear.

@@Eyeduka that's exactly the way the game is meant to be played. Jack of all trades is master of none. You have to specialize your build to every scenario if possible. Both skills and equipment.

By different weapon I;m reffering to just a different GS, no way to change to new class I would go crazy :D

Well with provoking warblade I almost never lose aggro, now even at T2, as for the trash mobs most of the time if team is properly build they die relatively fast anyway, I agree abotu chain hook, it could be optional. Immortal pride also boost you dps a bit because of vital force passive as long as you dont go over 30k hp, but mostly I used it with devoted sanctuary to cover team in case of some errors. Stun is helpful but situational like shamans in butcher's bay, but can always swap to other build to enable stuns temporarily. So I will see when I change a few pieces of gear how it goes, it is still work in progress anyway. Thanks for the tips, o7

@@Eyeduka Almost not losing would be a small issue special in random party. I have seen a lot of tank gets booted out because of that ((when running my dps alt) specially in dimensional trial for run farming is where 1 dps dying would either make or break the run. 2x shock and 2 field of general with max health full endurance- you wont regret it. Stun is essential not just because you want to stun. 1 is crown control to those mobs that is aggro to softer party member plus your Guillotine Blade and Death blow hit hard means aggro is good :) This is just my 2 cent from a tank with 4k cp

I agree, and I'm working on putting something very similar to what you suggest, just need a bit more grind to get the right items and put them together.

You may be right, I will test it, but in the future, things may change when I put on Adentus GS, but we'll see

@@Eyeduka Yeah, i am sitting atm on 4k GS with Adentus btw and i have aggro on Cruel Smite- Shield Slam and the stun from the GS and i aint losing aggro. If i am IF ANYONE can compete i just add the Chain ability to the mix and i generate aloooot of aggro. I also go for Blood Devotion - Guilotine/Death Blow Charged specs and you do a good amount of damage AND good aggro generation.

@@Eyeduka You need a bit of attack speed from Runes to pull this off though since you have 2 charging abilities

True It doesn makes things a bit slugish, so atm I continue pushing CP and as soon as I get some more decent items I will update the build and see where it's going

@@Eyeduka Aye, runes are a huge boost, specially they give a lot of Max HP and stats. On the weapons i went DEX+ Attack Speed because the end game content needs faster rotations

This worked before they added the Update. Now u can Catch sacks even If u Go for the big fishes. Im lvl 19 in fishing i fish every day in this Game

The way I see it, is that p2w is anything that can buy you time to progress faster, and in TL case, we get ton of content in high velocity so anybody paying real money will always be ahead of others and they will never be able to catch up, I can only wonder that in less than 2 months we are gonna get some other min max thing that will further increase the gap between the 2 groups. Trait is one, runes are now the new gap maker. The general farming you talk about for things you cant buy with real money, takes about 2-3 hrs a day max, and it's never gonna gate you, lucent farming will however. And the extract to sell thing is just an extra step, making us do more effort for something other games have it easier, just so that TL can make it harder for gold sellers and bots. But anyway it's a long topic.

@Eyeduka well, i feel like any micro transaction have ppl claim p2w, but you cant in this game buy the real source of power, you can buy gear, that is sold from another player, which mean he dont wanna take it , you arent buying from the game shop, and in the end , full epic lvl 3 wont be srronger than blue lvl9. And paying dont get you ahead, you get ahead by playing a lot, and there only a small minority that has both lot of money and time to spend. Yeah the game highly encourage to pay real money, but as someone who already spend 2k, i dont feel any stronger than my friends who have been playing since released and spend 0$ because i cant buy tome and stone, if i could, yeah that would be p2w because now i wouldnt have to even play the game. But this is almost mandatory now to keep game afloat, f2p dont pay devs, and dont provide content, and cosmetic only not usefull to keep a good amount of player in, i would quit asap if i couldnt have some way to skip the grind because 1st i only have a few hours a week, then i would only be able to farm to chase a good gear score, so in the end i would never play content i like. The game has a healthy balance, without providing any real advantage for paying, but there some ppl that dont see the benefit since it dont benefit them, that sorta selfish.

I agree it's targeting specific playerbase, the game model is similar to private/fun servers of other games. When it comes to money, a standard price tag would be a middle ground. The game is not grindy at all, the player gap will continue to grow because they will drop more content every few months, specifically targeting p2w player who are the only one who can keep up, so isn't that selfish from a different point of view? F2P player can participate in end game pvp content and never actually be competitive because of that. Many other publishers have choosen a more regular standard business model and are doing just fine, so to me it seems that for TL they only look for themselves anyway, and there is only one metric they care about - how much money they make...

I did stated the CP and shared build link, it's not BiS and I'm not maxed out I think I said it multiple times :) at the time of build I was 2.8k

yep I was too late, only did a few runs

burning 20k abyssal + 4500 dimensional 1* and 4500 2* does not take 2h hours ... If you are late it is not impossible to get back in track but if you aim for the top, 1 week late is a LOT of lost ressource. (I am not even mentioning the contracts)

maybe the guy wasnt the most efficient in these 100H but that isnt always the most fun way

What about multiple characters on different servers to run dungeons and get Lucent? Doesnt seem pretty casual friendly if u can cheese your way to keep farming regardless

I'm not in a race, I actually enjoy playing a game and exploring it, while learning it unlike most ppl today playing mmos and mindlessly following guides. And yes you can used up everything in just a few hours like a mobile game, however you still need to be on time for static (dynamic) events and bosses, so this is suboptimal since you have to be committed to the game and be like on a call, which is crazy. If I'm gonna be playing a game for 1 or 2 days a week I may as well not play it at all. I'm looking for engagement, not a contract for which I must finish a job asap.

@@Eyeduka thats good and all, but nowadays any mmo is a race even more a pvp oriented mmo. Theres a game called ashes of creation which is in alpha and theres already ppl making guides for it. Is really good that You have a more casual mentality towards the game, but you are in the minority and theres no question about it

You know what's crazy to me? There are some much worse games in general that still have unique standalone dungeon map and not just reused segment of open world map. Check Talisman Online, its so old and massively p2w and bad game, yet you still get unique deungeons there :D.

Well, I think it's still relevant to some extend, plus the practice of reusing assets will most likely continue for a long time.

Well, maybe. The only way I would spend money on it if it had a price tag, but no way to buy lucent or any form of subscription.

if you play daily and not in a rush to hit 3.8k cp its basicly a f2p game including your battle pass etc.

Sure, but all f2p players will be gated by elitism and most likely will never be able to compete fairly.
