The clips of him don't do his speed justice. None of his moves are necessarily hard to dodge or block but he never gives a chance to breathe.

You can just jump on the brick column right there too. Instead of getting lucky trying to jump straight on the wheel.

What patch might this be?

Focus on charge and jumping attacks, mixed in with a good ash of war. Stance break is the name of the game, regular attacks are pointless

Can you confirm if it stills work nowadays? I cant get it done and i dont know if it is cause im not able to do it in lvl 1 or its already patched? thank you.

Confirmed still works, a few notes for anyone trying: the double jump thing isnt essential, jump slightly to the right of the landing zone, swing the katana just before the explosion, and critically important is to roll as soon as you land up on the area so you don't slide back off! Good luck

first i fought him i was flabbergasted by his speed, but once i got used to it, the fight was easier than the other dlc bosses
