How many years of updates are remaining for this model? Or should i go for ipad mini 7?
It's about halfway through it's lifespan (released in 2021) so based on Apple's history I'm guessing maybe 3 more years of support. I was able to install OS17 fine but I'd definitely go with 256gb storage. I bought the 64gb at first and had to delete pretty much everything off of it just to have space for OS17 so I returned it for this one that's the 256. Price-wise everything I've read about the mini 7 256gb will be about $100 more than the mini 6 and is suppose to drop on 9/24/24 so I'd almost say it's worth waiting a few more weeks to see what the price will actually be 😊
