Yeah, the addition of Gearshift has sort of refreshed a lot of old bag setups. It's tough to putt with at first, but it gets better as you level it up.

You can also swap out maelstrom and Atlantis with conspiracy and rising flame. Not quite as much stopping power but plenty enough with accuracy improved without the crazy wind. Don’t miss the green though.

@@loospath Yeah, I've since moved to a Hot Streak bag with a doubled Conspiracy. It's easier to control and once you get a feel for how much it'll bounce, it's not that bad. Works just as well for most par 3's.

Once you hit level 9, it will very rarely show up in packs.

Lodestar is great and all, but I think Maelstrom has become the necessary ingredient in most bags since the Nautilus brand was introduced. It's decently accurate around the green and the bounce reduction and spin bonus it gives the whole bag are game changers in most setups.

Do y'all have any open spots? My clubhouse always gets the weekly top tier reward but they threaten to ban you if you don't get your 50 wins within the first 2 or 3 days. I buy plenty of bundles with clubhouse perks.

I can't remember it ever being a featured club in a bundle. Your best chances of getting those elusive clubs you want most probably comes from the Live Under Par and end of the month Fed Ex rewards packs. Also (and you may be a ways off from this), the more clubs you max out, the more likely the clubs you want will appear for purchase from the shop. In other words, maxed clubs won't appear there anymore, which leaves the clubs you've yet to max out.

It's a rare, random drop from higher level packs. It will also show up in the shop when you've maxed out nearly everything else.

Most of my clubs are at level 12. Been playing since around May of 2020. Also, Maelstrom is in this bag, which increases the spin.

It really depends on what clubs you have access to and what sort of hole you're talking about. For example, you may not want to use the same setup on a par 3 island hole vs. a par 3 green with fairway running up to it. The same is true of a straight par 4 hole vs. one with a dogleg that's lined with trees. So, the hole really dictates the best setup. And also which clubs you have the best command of.

Green Demon's boost comes when the ball is over the fairway.
