Leave Reed alone. You are rude. Beautifully done. Sounds are awesome and I have yet to ever hear a train. Just plain rotation of wind. Sometimes a whoo whoo. Then there’s the grinding sound where you can hear it rip up the ground. The popping. All kinds of sounds but no train.

I know its been a number of years but do you have any pictures of the aftermath of those towers that were destroyed? Reason I ask is we had a tornado here in Delaware, Ohio on 3-14-24 where 6 high voltage transmission towers were destroyed (not just knocked over) and I can't find any information on what level of wind is needed to destroy the towers.

This storm sent me into labor with my second born a year ago!! Was a wild week of storms!

I remember this. I was in Wichita falls. There were locust swarming as well..

First a turbine being destroyed in a storm, then a bird getting hit by a turbine, and now a turbine being ng destroyed by a tornado.

I remember that year, we had them in Vernon tx too. Thousands of them under street lamps. Haven’t found any other sources on line about that year or why there were so many!

To think while you was filming this, everyone I knew that passed on was alive during this. I was just a preteen when waking over them long pipes on North Ave.

This could have easily turned into numerous fatalities if the tornado would have gone onto the highway here; didn't these people ever hear about why most of the people who died in the Wichita Falls tornado in 1979?

The voice of former WAVY TV meteorologist Jon Cash. Man I thought the Hampton Roads region had it bad that day. I think there were three or four tornadoes in the area and dozens of reports of flooding due in part to it being a wet summer and the rain falling on already ground.

That’s a bit of a stupid idea. If the tornado had crossed onto the congested highway, more than 500 people could have died.

I hope and pray everyone got out days before all this and support one another and neighbours and elderly ☹ it’s not gonna be easy for anyone to leave their homes it’s heartbreaking ☹ lots of love and prayers from England ♥
