great video so nice not seeing another meg vid, id love to see an in-depth video like this about deinosuchus
..was the shadow human for scale size.. John cena...
@@yodatrucker420 John Cena was the host of this year’s shark week, and this was our shark week special!
@Epoch_Now ohh ok awesome didn't know that unfortunately I dont have cable so this is my way of getting my shark week fix lol awesome documentary
Amazing work y’all keep it up
Thanks man!!
For me the jaws movie franchise was otodus obliqus
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen. I don’t know if you’ve ever used it before, but man… that _JAWS_ musical arrangement in the intro was absolute FIRE! 🔥 Keep up the good work!
@@stephenfitzgerald9769 thank you! We like to try an give some of our videos themes based on the animal, so we figured jaws was the perfect theme for this video! Super glad you enjoyed it!!
I would like to see you try to cover other prehistoric animals such as Gigantopithicus, Gigantophis, Baryonyx, Homo Floresiensis, Pyroraptor, Arthropleura, Anomalocaris and Majungasaurus.
This is brilliant. The Cretoxyrhina genus seldom gets a lot of love. I collect fossils and have C. mantelli teeth from Kansas and Texas, which makes me happy.
Great video The intro in particular reminded me of bbc's The walking with series
dinosaur water beasts scare me they are like alligators and sharks combined plus the whales will kill you too.
Awesome video! Learning that there were other prehistoric sharks besides the megladon is fascinating.
@@dkplaysallday7955 glad you enjoyed it! If you wanna see more make sure to subscribe! We’ve got some more awesome videos coming out soon!
Hey, Great White Sharks, boys & girls, it is your ocean, I'm not gonna bother you and I haven't got enough blubber to be worth the caloric cost of hunting me . . . .
Just realized you used the hungry shark theme lol. Great video man
Finally someone is doing a well documented video on cretoxyrhina. Great job👍
This shark is cooler than megladon
The ironic thing about Amphicyon and amphicyonids in general is that they’re usually wrongly depicted as having outcompeted and wiped out “inferior” predators, but also often wrongly depicted as having been outcompeted and wiped out by “superior” predators.
22:08 HOLY SHIT, whoever that is, is the bally-est person I’ve ever seen!
Around 8:30 you say the largest recorded white shark was 19.1 feet, yet there are videos of great white sharks that are larger than 6 meters , is that not recorded data?
@@cattycats4 videos are not necessarily reliable evidence, we’re going by records that marine biologists have taken
@@Epoch_Now those records are usually from dead sharks though and its definitely possible to get an at least size measurement from videos of live sharks. was going to edit my comment to say I enjoyed your video but I wanted to watch all of it first 🙂thankyou
Vic Hislops Great white shark (from 1986 I think) was accurately measured at 20feet 8inch 6.3meters. And if you see the pictures you can believe it's size, it's on UA-cam. He also froze it and put it in his shark museum in Australia for people to see.
Finally, a video about a prehistoric shark that’s not Megalodon.
Im surprised this doesn't have as much views and likes, this video is really high quality and I only expected to learn about C mantelli not the other ones as well this was really well researched.
@@daddymarcus8343 thanks dude! We’re happy you enjoyed it!
1 The melodramatic music is annoying, wastes time, and serves no function, lose it. 2 You are mispronouncing Zhelezko - I do not understand why you are ignoring the h. Zh is pronounced like the s in pleasure, not the z in zebra. and the second z is pronounced like a z, not an s. 3 the animated shark that pops up around the 8 minute mark is wrong. For some reason, you have the tail moving up and down like a dolphin. No fish swims this way, they undulate the tail laterally, not vertically.
First, if you don’t like the music, you are welcome to make your own video, without music. Second, we have a team member who speaks Russian (Rango Gamer) and he said the way we said it was fine for video purposes And lastly how would you animate a 2-D shark in profile view to show lateral movement?
Sorry to break it with you do but that’s more of an issue with the program I’m using to animate rather than the shark. Pivot is still pretty limited even with the latest update. It’s pretty much stuck that way. That’s just how it is. And time crunch for this video wouldn’t allow me to make separate tails for the frames. I would recommend you to try out Pivot to see what’s it’s like.
it is older than the megalodon and yet has more fossil remains.
Some pop culture dinosaurs in this video are or is the fictional creature Rhedosaurus. Also you have almost forgotten the most important pop cultural impact - the Crystal Palace Park, the first Dinosaur Park in history.
Well damn ! You didn't have to go so hard on that intro, you just got a new sub
Welcome! thanks for the compliment!
Yeah hungry shark evolution theme!
No punches pulled with that intro. Good work. Always nice to hear more about the Ginsu Shark.
I very much enjoyed watching this with my family. Dad loves Shark Week.
Great video and interesting content. Well done!
nice
This was awesome, great job to everyone involved on this video and Happy Shart-uh, uh, I mean….Shark Week.

Good on the video on Cretoxyrhina, my friend! One day, people and shark will coexist together. And happy shark week btw!
You're videos are so good and am glad you finally got around doing a Shark Week video ❤ Hope you have a great day

OH!NO, THE NAME OF THIS MARINE REPTILE IS TOO LONG. IT IS DIFFICULT TO WRITE, UNDERSTAND AND REMEMBER. FOR OUR OWN LANGUAGE, THE NAME IS MUCH EASIER 長喙龍 長=LONG 喙=BILL 龍=DRAGON IN OUR OWN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, ALL THE REPTILES IN PREHISTORIC TIME AND IMAGINATION ARE CALLED DRAGON WE ARE CHINESE
I'm surprised no torvo or allo family invaded Yangchunosaurus environment to compete.
Imagine going back time and humiliate the old Paleo artist with your paleo accurate designs of dinosaur at that time. And they laughed at your work.
ARK working overtime on this one.
Nanuqsaurus is tied with Yutyrannus as my favorite Dinosaur. I hope in the future there is more fossil material discovered to give us a clearer picture of this Polar Tyrant!
I might’ve missed it but I’m still trying find the answer to a question I’ve started asking since I started playing ark. Was this beautiful beast actually nocturnal?
Cool
Peak
Acrocanthosaurus isn't the last apex predator before T rex of North American landscape . There were Siats meekerorum & newly described Mcraeencis were apex predators after Acrocanthosaurus.
Mcraeensis is actually a species of tyrannosaurus, and Siats was a coelurosaur. Acrocanthosaurus, as weve stated, was the last great *carnosaur* predator of North america
