Thanks for the review! Can you confirm the overall dimensions? The Eberlestock site lists them as 14”H x 9”W x 4.5”D. According to your super helpful footage in relation to your frame, this looks like it appears to be a lot wider (and overall bigger) than just 9". Maybe some stats on your frame size could help others, too! Thanks.
Thanks. If you go strictly by the back panel, it is 14”H x 9”W. But since the zipper bulges out a little, its more like 14.5” x 9.5”. It would look bigger on me since i have a small frame. Im 5’ 5” and 140lbs. Hope that helps.

Mine has never failed
I have daily carried a 1st gen Vanquest Javelin for almost a decade now and it hardly shows any wear. I recently decided I wanted a backpack instead of a Sling bag and after watching reviews, including this one I just purchased a Trident 21. When it comes to bags / pouches, I won't buy any other brand than Vanquest- no brand compares on the durability they offer.
How does this compare to the Beretta PX4 Storm in regards to recoil and smoothness?
I have a lot of experience with the sig but minimal with the storm. I only shot the storm when deciding which 9mm to get. From what i remember, recoil was the same. I felt the sig was a little smoother. I also tested the springfield xd and glock. All great guns but I went with the sig because I could shot it the best.

Yes, it can easily fit under a plane seat
What is the depth of the bag? Is it over 7"
The backpack dimensions has it at 6.6 inches for the depth. I measured the outside bottom and its at 6.9 inches. If really needed, something 7 inches would fit but it would be tight as you get closer to the bottom.
@Everydaymilitary inside the main compartment, can I fit a lunch bag that measures 7" in depth? Would it fit? I see in UA page says it's 6.2" depth.
Yes it would fit. The bag does expand more, especially near the middle. And if it’s a soft lunch bag, it will definitely fit.

What first aid kit do you have in main compartment? I'm building out my Moab 3 as a father of a couple toddlers as well!
In this bag, I have my slimmed down first aid kit. I got that little first aid bag from Amazon and built it myself. With toddlers, Band-Aids are number one. I have different sized ones and some antibiotic ointment. I also like to carry some sterile saline in case I need to flush things out, tweezers for splinters and self-adhere stretch wrap which has many uses. Hi.. just stumbling on this now.. nice Review! how is the SOG vs Rush 511 backpack? I might get the Rush series.. i served as a soldier in Singapore so yea.. looking for good backpacks.
The SOG is a good pack but I would still consider it a budget pack. The 5.11 rush series is a great pack. They are tough, well laid out and not too expensive. I have the rush 72, and im thinking of getting the rush 24. I like the rush series more than much more expensive packs.

Thanks for the review. The water bottle holder is the dumbest thing I have ever seen, after ordering one of these I immediately sent it back because you CANNOT keep attaching and detaching those little hooks which you can't even see on the underside of the bag while using the bag. If it wasn't for this fatal error I would have happily kept it. EVERYONE is obsessed with carrying water these days and Wandrd really missed the mark.
what did you reference as a sight during your 200 round function check? what brand / model is your brace.. love the look- is the ramp height adjustable?
I didn’t sight reference it. I was just putting ammo through it to check how reliable it is. It has a SB Tactical FS1913 brace. It has a KM3 riser, not adjustable.

The strap gets long, definitely long enough to go over a heavy jackey

If going with a straight velcro holster, i would do a Vertx tactigami holster. But for me, i like my IWB holster and its retention. So on the rare occasion that i off body carry, i use the Vertx belt adapter that uses velcro to attach my belt holster to the pack.

You should review the Osprey Manta!!! I've been stuck between the Gregory Citro and the Osprey Manta.
I would if it was in my channels niche. But i can say that the Manta is my go to for longer hikes. It has a good suspension system and the AG panel works well. The only negative i have found is sometimes it squeaks while walking. I do have the older version, the Osprey manta AG 36, i have had it 8 years.
