Leatherman wave multitool 10 year long term review
Hi, nice EDC bag! Roll the excess up and hold it with the keeper. Maybe you could add bungee cord if you wanna carry a bottle or anything else.
Thanks for the review. You told me exactly what I needed to confirm. It will make a fine weekend travel bad.
5.11 LV6 I prefer summer. Light and sufficient. Quality five stars.
Been there a lot. Like the view best time right when it opens hardly anyone there.
Looks like a nice pouch, but I rather have zippers instead of the Velcro.
Cute little purse.
Just so you know this is illegal in the US with the front grip
Any less than 90 degrees is absolutely legal...His is 89
an epipen pouch! I've been looking for one of those! details?
www.empiretactical.org/custom-us-made-tactical-gear/tactical-combat-medic-epipen-morphine-auto-injector-holder-wmalice this the one i got. I bought it off amazon a few years ago. I looked and it is not available on amazon anymore. I do have different ones but i like this one the best.
thanks for the comparison between these 2 bags... 😊
Does this connect with the Rush series backpacks with the tier system?
It does. In the video i said it connects via the side molle since the other moabs connect that way. But after getting the tier system, the moab 3 is too small, you have to connect the buckles to the front molle of the pack
Just bought one on Tuesday, in double tap, im loving it 😎
Vertical forgrip on pistol = AOW. You can make the BCM is not 90 degrees argument. I'm not sure it's worth the possible legal headache.
Just bring the mfg info...
Great guns. Just set mine up with a magwell that accepts p320 mags. Killer set up
Nice, what optics did you get on yours?
@@Everydaymilitary I ended up with a Burris fast fire rt. Great optic for the moneu
Interesting but that main pocket's opening is a deal breaker. I think the Rapid Waist Pack is their best bag in this size range so of course they discontinued it.
I like ABUs
It is my choice L6 & 2 Banger.
pf... i am between this, maxpedition falcon 2 and bergen by helikon....
That’s a tough one, tell me which one you decide on.
Me too max falkon 3 and this.
@@Everydaymilitary i have falcon 2 for many years , it is good but the fabric is very hard, it doesnt brake at all.i want to like it , but after every use i changed it again. Now i have the bergen and i am really safisfied. Simple , but does the job as an edc. This one seems good, but overpriced for what it is.
Watched a few blitz 30 reviews this one is a fantastic review of this backpack.
Thanks
Thank you for this review mate! Imo is a ggod pack for EDC and u can use with it straps from Skyweight utility or survival. Or from 2 Banger. It will be a good addition to my city setup. Take care!
Thanks, that is a good idea using the the straps from the skyweight utility.
Thank you for the review! Been wanting to see this!
Thanks, hope it helped
OGs
Way to small i seen it when it came out definitely small
Thanks! Finally someone reviews this bag. Kind of disappointed in the pockets :/ appreciate you so much! I almost pulled the trigger because the site doesn’t show much with their product pictures. Now I know not to get it.
I’m glad that it helped you out
Its very small and silly
I sure wish they had a better water bottle stretch pocket
I have the wave plus as well and have been using it hard for years. I would like to get the Arc but I can't justify it. The wave does everything I need. I agree as well if I did not already own a wave plus I would buy the Arc. I was hoping the arc would use the 1/4" standard bits. Also not a fan of the thumb stud. I cut up a lot of card board with my multti tool knife and I think the thumbstud would get hung up sometimes
It would be cool if it used the 1/4” bits. I would have probably replaced my wave with the arc if it did.
Hello mate. Out of curiosity. What is full lenght of the your camera with Lens installed? i just cannot choose from 9L and 6L version for my Black Magic FF camera with Anamorphic lens...Thx in advance
That camera and lens is 13 inches long
@@Everydaymilitary thx for the info mate. Appreciate
Very thorough review... Thank you for being indepth.
Been eyeballing this one for a while... Thanks for the excellent review!
would macbook fit in?
We have the mac book pro and it does not fit
Good demo!
Camelbak and maxpedition has the best quality, 5.11,direct action, mystery ranch etc are trash in the present time because her manufacturing its not the same
I just got the 6l and 9l to replace the Peak Design Everyday Sling 6l and 10l. Great bags for portability and functionality. Using a M43 system with 3 zooms for the 9l and 2 primes for the 6l.
LV8 is just he right size and function. I switched from the Moab 6 and haven’t looked back
If you snag a short water bladder they fit inside the cc sleeve, or the interior sleeve for an elegant hydration solution. Then you can still use external straps for a jacket.
Also, there are 8*11 plates which *may* work inside the same space. Once I receive my LV8 (waiting 5 weeks for delivery, so far) I'll look into it.
OCPs are the best ones
That was a really great review, thank you.
Great review, in wondering if 8.5x11 paper will fit in this bag? I’d like to use it for my work.
For paper 8.5x11 would fit but not nicely. If you want to keep it flat, probably the biggest you can put would be 7x10.
@Everydaymilitary thanks that helps
I think I may pick one up. But torn on colors. The blue like yours is cheaper, but not sure I want that color or spend the extra for black/gray
I would definitely go with the color you want even though it’s more expensive. I doubt you will notice the extra money spent but you may regret the color especially if you use it often.
Thanks for the video. I have the same situation, going on a trip next week and this will arrive in time. Great test!
Thanks, I was surprised with how well it performed. Hope you have a great trip.
Good job. Informative.
Do the cya holsters in Amazon come for right side carry or left side carry?
It is right side carry.
What size tablet can fit in the back pocket (3:57)?
I have the standard ipad (air 2) and it fits good. I can get my 12 inch ipad in there but not nicely, it would inly fit if put in an angle.
Nice review! Should I rather buy the blitz or the eberlestock highspeed II?
That’s a tough one. Both great packs from good brands. Also similar prices. For me it would be the blitz, since i do not need a 37L packs. I carry it more for an EDC so i wanted something less bulky. But if you want something bigger and in a hotter climate, the highseed II would be better since it would let your back breathe a lot better.
Best gun ever made
Is it water resistant??
It is somewhat water resistant. With light rain, we did see the water bead but i do not believe that it is made to really hold water out. The zippers do not have any kind of seal like you see in many water resistant packs. After some time the water did soak the exterior but the interior stayed dry.
Just ordered that exact bag! Same size and color! I got a TDY to Hawaii next week and I wanted a bag big enough to fit a Canon 5D and a medium format 645. Looking forward to getting it in
Nice, i haven’t been tdy in a while. But I took leave to Hawaii and stayed at the Hale Koa, great time. I never got into medium format but my dad use to shoot with a hasselblad. Have fun over there
Can't decide between this and the rip ruck 32.. mostly used for edc
You can’t go wrong with either one. I feel the blitz has more of a deployed/military look and the rip ruck has a civilian tactical look.
I like slings as chest harness replacement. If using a plate carrier then can more easily get the bag out of the way for prone use, easier to get on than a chest harness
That’s getting snatched from behind you. Easily. Waist carry is best
I totally agree. I was showing the capability of the pack. I usually do not carry since i am on and off base often (cant be armed on base) but when i do its an appendix carry.
Do you think a Sony A7IV with a Sony 24-70mm f2.8 attached would fit? I'm looking for a smallish sling to carry just this camera and lens.
I don’t have that exact camera but looking at it, it would fit but not nicely. The internal organization of the bag is not setup for a camera like that. Have you looked at the Wandrd Rogue? It is a sling bag made for a camera. Im trying out their 9L as an EDC. I will put out a review once i get a good feel for the pack.
@@Everydaymilitary thank you. Good to know. I almost bought that exact same bag because they are having a clearance sale on that color. Thanks again for checking.
@@Everydaymilitary I have looked at the rogue but I don’t want a bag that looks like a camera bag.
