Go as a pilgrim and seek out danger
far from the comfort
and the well lit avenues of life.
Pit your every soul against the unknown
and seek stimulation in the comfort of the brave.
Experience cold, hunger, heat and thirst
and survive to see
another challenge
and another dawn.
Only then will you be at peace
with yourself
and be able to know and to say;
“I look down the farthest side of the mountain,
fulfilled and understanding all,
and truly content that
I lived a full life and one
that was my own choice”

She's a hot one
I'm sorry if you really look at that truck compared to the background. Look at the windows and the detail of the truck. If you're a trucker you know this is a fake Photoshop
Engine runaway is the very rare Planes have engine runaway but they can work properly because plane engine is powerfull they can absorb engine runaway
That's sad to see but a badass way to go
I’m not an engineer and I never graduated high school, but wouldn’t a fuel cut off switch prevent this from escalating to this point? An engine can’t continue to run “away” without a fuel source, correct?
I'm no mechanic but I'm reading the comments about stopping the air intake, that being said, is it possible to create a manual mechanism that an operator can push or pull a protected (covered) lever that in the cab on the dash that can link up to the intake that can plug and block the air intake? I say protected covered lever in the cab on the dash because you want that covered to prevent accidental push or pull but put on the cover in writing ( in case of Diesel engine runaway push or pull this lever).
is there a way to turn off the engine appart from the key?
Thats just the ghost rider
Great Job! Your cap though...lol GO POKES!
Never seen this on European trucks 😊
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thanks for watching.
lost on the high way to hell :)
👨🏻🦱 “okay kids let’s get the shots with the Glocks. Then we’ll break out the Thompson’s. Then dad’ll buy the beer”
かっこいい😂
Rock n roll music video or out of a movie
No, my son filmed it while getting breakfast at work, his boss was driving that’s why it is so short.
nah you all wrong it's not runaway. It's just ghost rider driving thats why you have flames. Use your brains people :D
.. you didn't stop to watch her blow?
that truck looks like it just emerged from Hell
If Gene Simmons owned a truck...
That engine is gone
The story goes that Ike carved that tombstone himself. One great source for the local history is Bill Stein, RIP. Search online or ask at the library.
Thanks
Great channel, you know a lot of stuff I don't. I did know old people who remembered the Staffords. They all said they were mean SOBs.
I noticed in this video that at some point electrical wiring was installed with modern light switches. 2:51
Great. I will make the same.
Thanks! I hope it works out for you.
It's fine.
This looks like AI.
Ok 🤔 mechanics 🧰 what is the meaning of this ?
We had a diesel generator atop our fire engine that ran away.....The scene lights it powered got very bright, and threw the blackest exhaust....I expected it to blow up. Strange feeling as a firefighter calling another engine company to come and put you out...
To those who are really clueless and have no idea what engine runaway is - it’s a situation where an engine combusts an unintended fuel from external source that causes it to go Super Saiyan, bringing it closer to catastrophic failure. Diesel engines are way more vulnerable to engine runaway due to their design and principle of operation. Whereas gasoline engines draw mix of air and fuel in specific quantities to compress and ignite with a spark plug inside the combustion chamber to drive the motion, diesel engines first draw in and compress air alone to heat it up enough for the injected fuel to spontaneously combust. This does not require throttle body to control the flow of air. Instead, the speed of the engine is controlled by the amount of fuel injected into the combustion chamber. In a diesel, the harder you step down on the gas pedal, the more fuel will be injected into the combustion chamber per power stroke, unlike in gasoline engines, where gas pedal controls how much fuel and air mixture the throttle valve will allow to enter the combustion chamber. So in comparison to gasoline engine which has a tightly controlled system managing combustion of air-fuel mixture, diesel engine can draw in air unrestricted. Any external fuel source, like combustible vapors, oil leaking through broken seals and whatnot can overcome the usual fuel injection system and lead to an engine runaway. This is even more terrifying to those who are unaware of the danger, because removing the key will NOT stop the engine.
Super cool trail and video !!
Thanks
Usually, a runaway engine only happened to Detroit diesel engines. They will also run backwards, and they do have an emergency shutoff.
Terrible loss
only missed that engine rebuild by 300k miles. gonna need a new block this time around.
Wow, dangerous situation! An air cutoff would have stopped it. You could also shut off the fuel, or maybe cut or bend the fuel line so that it cannot feed the engine anymore....
fake video can't believe people fall for that shit
@@martinsmyth5580 it’s 100% real my son filmed it while he was at work.
wow never seen that !
The should invent and emergency turbo clog thing lol
