The difference between Swamp and Common Milkweed
It’s actual name is cempoalxóchitl in Nahuatl, which the Spanish later changed to cempasúchil
They grow very well where my grandparents live in old Hurum Norway, only thing they get is some water if it hasn't rained for a month(which never happens in Norway).

The betrayal!
Right lol
Is it true they don’t bloom until their third year? (Pink ones)
@@kso808 yeah typically 2-3 years, the ones that I planted 2 years ago bloomed this year, but I didn’t grow them from seed
Nothing wrong in buying straight from the nurseries for same year flowering!
Que flores lindas
These are not marigolds these are Calenas
I am indigenous Dega Montagnard I love cosmo flowers
thanks, short and helpful
Caution- where to plant. Dedicated bed is best. Common Milkweed spreads by rhizomes and can take over a flower bed. In a not-so-prepared area that might not be a problem.
Hey,I am in England & this is the first year I have grown Aquilegia properly..I have grown the seeds, got the leaves, but didn't know they took two years lol..Anyway this year I got the flowers & omg are they beautiful, they even look pretty from the back,I am so in love with them..Some Aquilegia grow & the flower faces the floor like a little umbrella, but mine faced to the side, you know like a sunflower & omg they are pretty.. I am just looking to see if they self seed or if I can collect the seeds..My fella bought me the seeds think it was two packs for £1..I definitely want to get some more..I used a bit of blood fish & bone & chicken manure, but I didn't use any the first year(only cause I never had any, couldn't afford it)but used it this year, but I don't go mad..I like to feed the soil.. At the end of the year I get loads of oak leaves & cover my soil,I tell you what the soil is better the next year(it's bought stuff)although I am making my own compost now aswell..
Glad you made a video!

Can you make a video abt growing weed perchance
I don’t know much about growing weed, but I can give it some research and see if it would be a good video to make.
Cosmos is one of my favorites 💚💚💚
does this flower smell..?
Yea strong floral scent
The seeds that i bought on the packet said no cold so what do i do.
Maybe they said no frost?
Ty! My first sprouts are coming up and I'm dying to know how long until they flower ☺️
Anyone know if Rocky Mountain columbine is fragrant ?
Mine self seed on a stone driveway do wonderful I dig them up and transplant
When to sow
In Canada, they’re only annuals .
I didn't know Coneflower and Bachelors Button is the same thing.
With all due respect, @ 72 I've seen a lot of science facts come and go, over and over. Each new generation of researchers wants fame and grant money. When you say "it's the oldest", please consider adding "that we know of", just to cover your posterior.
Another video!
Excited for future videos!
Hope yall enjoy!
i was looking for a video with marigold but all of em looked so different but these do look how mine look, thanks for showing me, i will wait till they are brown
Glad to help!
Cantik banget
These were among my Grandmother's favorite flowers in her yard in Brooklyn during the 1950s and 1960s. They are so simple, yet beautiful.
I’ve had columbine grow easily in a pile of gravel easily over 6 inches deep.
Glad to see you posted
Looks good!
Missed you. Glad you posted another video. Your flower garden looks great! Lots of color.
Your garden flower's is so beautiful
I am from India Your flower's are amazing Which company is this seed So i want also
I get loads of them with varying colours because they self seed. I’ve got a clay soil and I never water or feed them. I’ve just seen the pale blue and white ones so I’ve bought some seeds and I hope they germinate. They are in the Fridge at the moment but I will plant them soon. I’m in the UK, in Yorkshire half way up near Scotland.
How’d they go?
I hope to see mine bloom in spring 2024! UPDATE 2024-06-02: winter sowing converted ZERO columbine. 😣 I'll just buy one at the nursery and soil-plant it. This looks too good for spring flowers!
Foliage is not foilage.
Sorry for mispronouncing
This is a common mispronunciation.
