This is our crew pushing some snow last night. We’re using a John Deere 6110m with a 10-16 HLA plow and a Deere 244L loader with a metal pless 8-13. These are very efficient snow moving machines. If you have any questions about them, don’t hesitate to ask!

Spent about an hour cleaning up this property after we finished the patio for the client. I changed directions 3-4 times throughout the hour to really smooth everything out. This is our 2022 Bobcat T62 with a hydrabucket made by CMP attachments.

    This video is very interesting in Japan. I subscribed to your channel. thank you. Japan is a region with a lot of heavy snow that contains relatively moisture. How is the snow quality there?

    I have an 8-16 and got a manufacture defect and they wouldn't stand behind their product. they just ghost you. ask me how I know :( talked to the local dealer and they said metal pless doesn't stand behind their product even when a dealer that orders 20+ units has an issue and shows how it's something like putting too low PSI hoses on units.

      This one I believe is a bobcat part. It’s called their “360 roof light kit”. I believe I payed around $1500 Canadian for it. It bolts right on to the roof and has a 2 way toggle switch inside on the normal instrument panel. It’s insane how much light this thing puts out. I’ll upload a good walk around and review video for this machine after this hectic season is over 😅

    If you’re going to shit talk a quality product, you should state what you were doing while you broke the hydraulic cylinders. Because cylinders don’t “just break.” I’m calling bullshit. On any hydraulic system, cylinders are normally the last thing to fail.

    • @countrycaretakerpropertyse7981
      @countrycaretakerpropertyse7981 Рік тому

      Our main issues are hoses but the internal o rings have blown on half of the cylinders on this machine so it’s not snapping cylinders but blowing o rings. My point of this video is there’s a significant quality difference in our metalpless blades since the start of the pandemic. We’ve even had service techs talking about it as well.

      I love my metalpless but at the difference in price, it didnt hurt to try the HLA and Im liking it. The real difference will be parts availability and ease of repair! We will see with time.

    • @martenvanderee5099
      @martenvanderee5099 Рік тому

      We run several of both and the metal pless blades have way better longevity. The wings are probably the biggest difference performance wise. Mp holds its position much stronger than the hla and scrapes significantly better. I would say if you can get the metal pless its worth it unless you’re turning over equipment frequently or you have bad operators.

    • @countrycaretakerpropertyse7981

      @@martenvanderee5099 we have two metalpless (one live edge and one without). Metalpless live edge lasts so long. We will replace the non live edge next season. I’m terms of scraping, I see little to no difference between our edge flex and our live edge. This is our first year with hla but for 13k less, I’m incredibly pleased with the hla

    • @martenvanderee5099

  • @mingopetro

    What do you like best hla or metal pless? We are running the same size hla on a 344 deere and are very happy with that combo. Also have another 10-16 hla with the taller moldboard that i don't have anything small enough to put it on. 8295r jd is the smallest unit i could put it on and that seems like to much tractor but the 6110 i didn't think would be enough. maybe i am wrong.

    • @countrycaretakerpropertyse7981
      @countrycaretakerpropertyse7981 Рік тому

      This is a tough one. We have a live edge metalpless and a standard edge one. The hla is edge flex and honestly I see extremely little differences between the hla and the metalpless. We’ve had huge issues with wing pistons on our metalpless. We were quoted 37,500 for the 10-16 metalpless and 21,500 for the hla and I think for the price difference the hla is amazing. We will see how I feel after another full season but the hla looks very simple but we’ll engineered.

    • @mingopetro
      @mingopetro Рік тому

      @@countrycaretakerpropertyse7981 The only issue we have with the hla is cutting edge wear. seems like they burn off awful quick. just standard edges not the live edge or whatever hla calls it. Other than that we absolutely love it. 6th season this year and zero issues. I cannot understand why so many people are still running box pushers instead of these. I realize the price difference but it has allowed us to take on more work with the same amount of equipment so in my opinion it is a cheaper way to go.

    That must be a 2022 model blower. We just got one for our 19 T590 and was hoping it looked like this but it's a 2021 and is the older looking model but I will say I love it. Our T590 has every bell and whistle except high flow but our blower is still very efficient. A few different factors on these blowers, first, is different types of snow pack, how much of a bite you take and how fast you go through the pile. The first time I used ours was in frozen snow piles that were several weeks old but it blew it all of 35-40 feet. Ours is a 74" Bobcat SB200 and went through 4 decent sized piles (enough to fill several 1 ton dumps a couple times) in about 3 hours.

      Yep I believe this unit is their newest model. We received this unit maybe a month before this video was taken. It’s got a more aggressive auger and the see through sections of the blower. There is definitely different factors for sure. Great insight :)

      I’m glad our video could help you in your consideration process. I like the machine a lot. If I did it again, I probably wouldn’t have went with the full blown high end package with the heated cloth seats as it makes this machine extremely expensive. If you’re doing a lot of blower work or using a power box rake then consider high flow. For what we’re using, this machine is great and the operators enjoy the creature comforts.
