I love the battle system in paper mario 64 and ttyd improved on it without changing it too drastically. Nintendo needs to make a completely new paper mario with the ttyd battle and partner system. One change I wouldn't mind them experimenting with would be including multiple partners in battle at the same time. Kinda like mario rpg.
