You are such a delight to spend alittle time with. You've got me hankering for an egg and cheese biscuit now and I'm out of eggs. I've got the biscuits, gonna put eggs on my shopping list. Yep, I keep it around 70 degrees in my home, cooler at night as I'm in warm jammies with socks and lots of blankets. I sleep much better when it's cold. During the summer I only turn my AC on at night to cool my home down and turn it off in the morning and it stays cool inside all day. Double pained windows and good insulation makes a huge difference. I've lived in homes without them and it won't stay warm or cool without the AC or heat on. Here in Louisiana where I'm currently living, I'd have to use gas for heat and the deposite is very high and they charge you 20 dollars of month even when you aren't using your heater at all during the summer. The AC is electric but the heat is gas. Weird I know. So I never signed up for the gas and just use a couple of small electric space heaters during the winter when it's really cold instead. I refuse to pay all summer for something that I'm not using at all and I'm a bit skittish of gas heating to begin with. Leaks and explosions don't sound like any fun at all. Well God bless you brother. I'm heading off to bed. And yes, the space heaters are turned and unplugged when I go to bed or leave the house and it stays warm enough for me just fine, under lots of blankets. Safety first. Glad your Darlin is better. Stay warm grandpa. That was good advice. There are a lot of good people out here that are alone. Too often it makes one a target for people looking for some kind of source. Setting good boundaries is essential as we muddle on alone.

It is painful but once you see it you can’t unsee it. You feel like you’ve been in the twilight zone. People are fake, users and abusers.

I needed to hear this today, thank you. I have been dealing with this and it is hurtful. People attacking, going out of their way to create chaos, because they are a miserable sort. It makes you doubt yourself, second guess yourself. It makes one want to just stay to yourself. People can’t stand authentic or as you say genuine people, because they are so fake and wear masks for every situation.

That's so true Grandpa. The Lord takes care of his children. It really is pitiful that some people are jealous of others in any capacity. But to be jealous of another person's character is really hard to make sense of because we have the capability to do and be better if we just try. But I'm sure you're right about it. It took me many years to realize these things and I was continually questioning myself and what I did " wrong." Thank you again, love your talks.😊
