@@anahimuro203 pretty similar, honestly the reading and math were the hardest for me. I did the best in the science portion. Just keep watching the videos and do the TEAS practice exams. If you study you’ll be fine! Good luck!

There are a lot of weird questions on the reading section! It’s very confusing.
Yes! Sometimes the hardest part of the reading section is figuring out the actual question!

Why are all the questions so fucking vague
How accurate are these questions to what is going to be asked on the actual test?
Great question! These questions are matched to the topic and concept level of the exam. Some of the "easier" questions are to make sure you know the concepts inside and out and can recall them quickly. The TEAS will always have some tricky questions where the wording of the question is confusing and/or the answer options all seem both right and wrong. It's great to study the topics AND test-taking strategies for standardized tests like the TEAS.

I took the teas today. What the heck... these questions are ten times easier than the ones I got. If I had gotten these questions I would've aced the science section. As it is I had to settle for an 87.

Fair enough! Study guides can be overwhelming, and reading material to learn/memorize isn't the most effective way for everyone.

Are the nursing and allied TEAS questions different? I don't want to study the wrong questions or learn further than I need to.
Great question, Olivia! The TEAS is the same for nursing and for allied health. Different programs emphasize different scores, but the exams are the same.

I work fulltime and also care for a 4 year old and an 8 year old. Study time is precious. I passed the TEAS7, but I needed to increase my science score as well as my math. I haven't had a science class in over 10 years. Your online NursingSmarter study program was a blessing. I took the test again today and increased my science score by 25 pts and my math by 17.6 pts. Your study guide was perfect !!! If you need help just reviewing TEAS topics....this is the place to go. If you need help in specific areas....this is the place to go !!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I took the TEAS 6 and missed it by .8 then took the TEAS 7 and missed it by 1.8 it's so frustrating. I have been an LPN for 28 years. I just want to get my RN and have taken and passed every pre-requisite and have an almost 4.0 but can't figure how to pass this standardized test. I have one more shot or I am out of the nursing school I want to go to. My toughest section is science (chemistry) and Math (Algebra, Geometry).
Thank you for sharing, Anna, and I'm glad that you are determined! It sounds like you have a great foundation with your GPA, and it stinks that the TEAS can be so frustrating. Try to give yourself some time before you re-test, and I love that you are focusing on chemistry and math. You are SO close to your target score. Good luck!
I have 2 LPN friends who wanted to become RN’s. One of them failed the TEAS test like 4 times. She finally passed on her 5th try. Keep studying chemistry and the other things you arent good at. Also look into a tutor. If you are at a community college by chance, you can def get a tutor for those subjects
