Tidy backs make me happy and I stress if I have more than one project on the go. I agree about parking method, too much for my brain to process. I generally do work from left to right but I’m more of a cross country stitcher by color group but I won’t carry or trail threads across the back. I do pin stitch and then move onto the next with a new start . Thank you for such a great video. I really enjoyed watching your work.

Planning to do full coverage fanatics challenges next year and make some progress on all of my full coverages. Also will still do wipgo with little goals so I touch the non full coverage too. Like to do 4-6 projects a month

If you like historical fiction, then give the Hilary Mantel books a go. I've listened to both Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies, and was totally absorbed by them. They are read by an actor who has a different accent for every character, plus his own voice as a narrator. But I wouldn't speed them up - you'll lose the thread of the story. I got them free through BorrowBox, which is the audio-book service offered by my library

I like any books read by R.C. Bray and Ray Porter. They both have unique voices and a good range of characters. They tend to be more sci-fi/fantasy readers though.

My main goal is going to be the HAED Sal 2025 plus the additional free chart that comes which is a cool dragon. Love your bee, it’s looking fantastic 🐝

I'm glad you like what I sent over! The fabrics are all actually Coffee Craft ones - purchased quite a few years ago when they were just starting up/first introduced the monthly club. The silks are missus sedas :)

What genre do you like? For Sci-Fi, I recommend the Silo trilogy (the first is called Wool) and the Vorkosigan saga by Lois McMaster Bujold (there are something like 22 books in the series and I think she’s done with it); for fantasy, Jim Dale does a great job with the Harry Potter series; also The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern; for horror, Justin Cronin’s The Passage series. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is excellent - although you won’t get any stitching done for the last hour of it. Happy stitching and listening.

The Emily Wilde series audio books are so good. The 3rd one doesn't come out until Feb 2025. The 2 narrators have English accents which makes it more fun for me but might be boring for you. I love the narrator for the Gail Carriger steampunk books but I can't remember her name.

I love audio books. Did you know if you join your local library you can get unlimited free audiobooks online. Plus you can get free online cross stitch magazines. So worth doing. I just finished listening to the midnight library which I really enjoyed.

My first goal for 2025 is to do the HAED sal and I intend to use the fabric I won I also thinking of doing the sal from Modern Embroidery when it comes out. I do hope one day we can buy the Gecko Rouge only as pdf since it will be way to expensive to get them now you are out of EU take care you too love your videos

I’ve been trying all of the things-royal rows, random parking, cross country, find and do large blocks of colour, etc lol, and wasn’t sure that was ok because, you know, the cross stitch police (well said). I had to start the Gecko Ami patreon pattern asap! Aurora Cottage is so beautiful! I’d just started it in my last Flosstube but I’m hoping to get more progress on it soon. A Sal sounds really fun.
