    I love your enthusiasm. That blueish passiflora looks familiar, I think it could possibly be used as a rootstock. I'm wondering where you are… I was thinking possibly somewhere in SA with the Mallee trees I saw in the Protea video. Good luck with the Durian tree, I can only imagine how excited you are going to be when you do the “I've got a durian fruit” video 😁

    What a lovely video. Your garden is simply beautiful. Your location reminds me very much of the outback here in WA, dry and dusty and furnace hot in Summer! I am brand new to gardening and have been trying to grow flowers too as I am trying to create a wildlife garden to attract pollinators, etc. So far I haven't had any luck. Everything dies or doesn't even grow. But I have just discovered drip watering so intend to place a few bottles around the garden in time for next Summer. You have inspired me and I would like to grow Zinnia's too. Can you please tell me how you grew them? From seeds or plants? Thank you.

    • @ElNoorGardens
      @ElNoorGardens 5 місяців тому

      Thank you very much, yes I’m glad you can relate! Drip watering is the go because even though it’s a little cooler now, in the summertime things get thirsty and before drip watering, I was out every day for 3 to 4 hours trying to water everything it gets exhausting! My zinnias have been grown from seed, and if you like, I would be happy to send you some in the mail to get you going - they will be acclimated to your environment -if you are interested, just send me a message with your details at the website link in the description

      @@ElNoorGardens Thank you so much for replying back! You are so kind! I wasn't sure if you would see my message as I am sure you are very busy, so even more lovely that you responded so quickly. Oh my goodness I can so relate about spending 3-4 hours every day trying to water everything! How fortunate that I have actually found someone else like me who has had that problem. I didn't mind doing it every now and again but constantly during summertime was exhausting for sure. So glad I discovered a video last week on youtube about drip watering, so going to start now because we are still having some hot days here. That's great that you grew your Zinnias from seed, they are so beautiful! I feel encouraged that I should be able to achieve that too, although when I sprinkled packets of wildflower seeds last Spring nothing has happened. Thank you for the suggestion of getting some Zinnia seeds from you, that sounds like a great idea! I will jump on your website now and have a look. Thank you again.

    Your baby rose was very cute. I hope it is still going good. I'm in Colorado in the US. We have cold winters, but our summer sun can be brutal. I also have to shade all my baby plants until they get established. I am hoping some of my roses make hips so I can try this. Thanks for the video.

    • @ElNoorGardens
      @ElNoorGardens 5 місяців тому

      You’re welcome, good luck with your own Roses. Yes shading is pretty essential when they are so little and delicate. Sounds like we are in similar climate zones.

  • @erinwoolen4797
    @erinwoolen4797 Рік тому

    If that rose with the potential variegation keeps flowering with that bloom type, and if it is hardy, disease resistant, etc., you could potentially have your own unique rose to add to the trade. Propagate it from cuttings after a couple of years, and if it cuts well you have something special. Scent doesn’t have to be a forethought, hardiness is an incredible trait, but a good smell is a big bonus. Best of luck!!
