GEORGIA ON MY MIND (Cecchini Aznar Dúo)
such a sweet and warm style he had, we will miss him
(RIP) MR. MALONE!!!!! TRULY A LEGEND OF THE PAST, PRESENT AND THE FUTURE OF JAZZ GUITAR!!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💖💗💓
So very tasteful and masterful with such a large vocabulary of blues phrasing and great tone to match. Way better than so-called blues guitarists. Russell Malone was a one-of-a-kind blues oriented jazz guitarist and will be dearly missed.
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing this meditation on sound and collaboration! Who else but Bill to pair up with a saxophonist as talented as Greg!✌️❤️🌞
I built that amp, and met this great player that same evening. He was super nice and always had a funny joke or something positive to say. He went out and spoke to the audience on every break . Was a very cool man! RIP
I've watched/listened to this at least 50 times over the years. I'll never grow tired of it; It never disappoints. ❤💛💚💙💜
Another 6 string maestro, gone too soon...
He once bought a guitar that belonged to me. Really not a better world without Russel Malone.
Aww, he's not resting... he's still making music in heaven! ♥
He's jammin with Wes Montgomery.
Russell Malone is gone but his hands keep moving for us. RIP sir.
Rest in peace Mister Malone, thank you very much❤🙌🙌
RIP!!
Heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. So very thankful for and moved by his gifts.
So glad for the gift of his music. Rest well😢🎸
Gone too soon... RIP Russell 💔

How is he getting his Guitar to sound like a Kora?
May I ask the song name of the intro?
I mean the song from 00:01
Incredible stuff. Just slide riiiiiiight innnnnn...... Saw this tour at LPR when it snuck in just before COVID dislocations. How does JP make it look so simple while adding so much more? Hopefully, he won't need a sequel to "Go Away" come 2024 elections. Thank you so much, Gera!!
fakking real good, I am just now hearing of this guy/these guys...makes me feel like playing along with them...

You are amazing maannnn. Thanks for this!
Maravilloso, sutil, bello sonido, un gran maestro, una expresión profunda sentimental, gran técnica.
😀🌸🌱❤️

Geil ......................
Absolutely this performance is the most impressive live performance for me in this year. Thank you so much Bill and Greg.
This is my shit right here. Excuse my language.
One of the greatest sets of ever heard.
Great!!
Beyond beautiful.
Hi. What is that last Tune Rapping up the mind blowing session?
Marvelous mix of talent here, dig the production as well, thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Tell me please, what is the name of composition at 1:05:50? I can not find in Spotify.
Cliche!
Too Cool🥰🥰🥰
incredible stuff. goddamn, cliche goes so hard
😍
Thank you for the one minute intro screen, really enjoyed it
I used to talk to Russell occasionally and one thing that stood out was that wherever he went, anywhere in the world, there were some local guitarists he wanted to check out if he had some extra time. Jimmy Gourley in Paris, Nelson Symonds and Sonny Greenwich in Montreal, Ed Bickert or Reg Schwager in Toronto. "I'm gonna go out and hear some Jimmy Gourley if I get a chance...." Huge ears, constant respect for colleagues.
when you talk about Greenwich, Bickert and Symonds, these are some of local favorites of a friend of mine who lives i Montreal....
We grew up in the same church together in Albany I don't remember him that well thank you for the story. I was just a child sorry to hear about his passing I I don't remember him but I know he remember me.
💕🎸🎶🎵
Did that dude just adjust the bridge height in the middle of a tune? Nice. Also, great playing of course!
Too bad more recordings from Lucille's isn't on YT
