Honestly not sure on size. Nothing to big. I only use lures off the rocks during the day. If i catch anything note worthy you guys will be the first to know :) Wish i started recording my sessions ten years ago, i used to catch a lot of monsters i feel.

@@fishingwithquince514 do reckon a Ballen would take a fly ? I fished Br### Cove myself yesterday but over towards the headland on low tide some really deep gullies perfect for LRF and I had the biggest Corkwing wrasse I’ve ever seen absolutely stunning fish

@@Kernow-lerf yeah they will take a fly. just need the right one. I've done a lot of light rock fishing myself in the past.

@@fishingwithquince514 I’ve been flicking bass flys down in Hayle which is my local mark apart from over eager pollock I’ve not had any success yet for anything else always frustrating when your watching the bait anglers pulling out bass and gilts I’ve had lots of success with isome and gulp but I’m really concentrating on soft plastics at the moment true lures brilliant fun

I fish for anything but wrasse provide great easy to find sport. Plenty of bass around and I do catch the odd one but the time of day I fish makes it harder to catch bass I think.

Hey I will check out your channel. It's not a attack on everyone it's just I feel UK fishing channels are missing some creativity. Back in the day I watched John Wilson and the art of fishing and I guess I miss entertainment.

@@fishingwithquince514 yeah I watched Jon Wilson growing up, I guess my uploads are more of a blog of my adventures. I would never claim to be a good fisherman. Its more of a journey. I must admit I do agree with you in some aspects. I've unsubscribed to many channels. I find there are two types of fisherman. One that are really helpful, happy to share knowledge and marks, and don't rip someone apart because they are doing something their own way, and then the other group, that think they are the best fisherman in the world. I just go fishing and just happen to film it. Sometimes I catch, sometimes I don't. But I enjoy it. I do think we are missing a good fishing show though. Take care buddy.

Riverside with me is a nice channel. He's a nice bloke, fishes in Wales. Very genuine

I have more planned this year. It's Stithians lake. I caught some wild brown trout in there but I lost the footage sadly.

If you see anyone out carrying a fishing rod ask them where they recommend . Sea fisherman in Cornwall are very nice and don't mind sharing the knowledge. If you let me know where abouts you are maybe I could point you in a easy to get to (safe) location .

The black minnow copy jelly is around 4" long and so is the slug go copy. 10cm

Have you considered giving Hayle harbour a go? Thinking of places closest to you, it can turn up some very good fish. I plan on fishing there again soon. Easy to get to. No rock climbs.

@@fishingwithquince514 I fished Hayle Saturday probably totally in wrong side a S on the Sandy River Estuary near the new flats being built and I’m guessing I should of been over the other side but it’s very local 20 minutes so definitely try again yesterday I hit Towan headland on the rocks but with my beach spinning rod no joy but what A beautiful mark I’ll try a harbour again I had fish chasing my lures at mevagissey but really have 3 fish on my bucket list wrasse bass and a Cornish wild brownie trout in season obviously but 4 weeks blanked hard for the morale

It's near the big shopping centre thing there ... I can't remember if it's Aldi or something? Behind that there is a big salt water pool where people catch lots including gilt head bream at the right time of the year. But fishing from the harbour wall is your best bet. Close to the wall your get wrasse. Brown trout haven't actually been caught too much but yes, they have started showing up more and more in recent years. St erth river has them, the river running through helston has them and stithians lake.

@@fishingwithquince514 yes indeed. Best saying I ever heard was " never confuse solitude for loneliness" I love the solitude fishing gives me. I live in a seaside village with 2 cracking beaches and I could fish then all year and be the only person fishing.

If the net was to get stuck. Which it wouldn't with my clear skills in casting the thing i would cut it free. rather than leave trash anywhere that would harm the wildlife i would rather jump in and free it by hand....
