Good info. It’s so hard to find a feed store that sells organic or non gmo.
Thanks Tim! Try asking your supplier if they will order what you want.
Thanks!
One gallon 45% mix with 1 gallon 5%.
Thanks for the tip!
What an amazing new home! It is so beautiful with all the land and the tree's. You really found a gem and have accomplished so much already. Thank you for showing us around, you definitely know what you are doing!!!
Awe! That is so kind. Thank you. We appreciate you watching.
Athens , Malakoff area is beautiful! We are closer to Nacogdoches. Great location very nice!!
Thank you! Nacogdoches and the national forests in your area are very nice.
Congratulations! Beautiful new home! ❤
Thank you! And, thank you for watching!
Dude needs a bigger hat.

As you are spraying and carrying the tank push the handle all the way down and give it a quarter turn clockwise. It will lock it in.
You have it double panned, that is why it took longer and did not brown as well.
how do you get ot to adhere to Brassicas? It rolls off my broccoli leaves
When we used it on brassicas, it seemed to roll off but did leave a powder residue. You can also apply it to brassica as a dry powder dust.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm I think I'll try that. It will definitely be more labor intensive but I'm a hobby gardener, so I only have 50 or so feet of Broccoli.
Spartan Mosquito is paying $3.6 million to settle a class-action lawsuit.
Interesting. Many say it works but others say it doesn’t.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm Yes, company was doing fine selling to people who think it works.
Wont it clog the sprayer?
Depends on the sprayer and if properly diluted. Give it a try!
Hi, would this deter a raccoon from eating peppers off a pepper plant? Dang raccoons ate all my peppers last year so looking for some protection. Thanks for the video
Honestly don’t know. We have never used it for that. Give it a try and let us know!😊

We are in the market and considering this brand, you still happy with it? We are looking at large
Yes! Great chicken pluckers.
Do you remember how long it takes to bake in the sun oven?
It should be done in about 2 hours. But, you can leave it much longer and it will not burn.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarmThank you so much!
Is the vinegar pet friendly?
Good question. We really don't know. We don't have any pets, just livestock. And, we have not used it in our livestock areas. The vapors dissipate quickly after application and the liquid dries quickly in the hot sun.
Bresse last summer. We made the same mistake you made by not cooking correctly. Our eggs are about half the size of yours. ❤❤❤
Did you candle your eggs at any point during the breeding process? Because if you didn’t you’ll never know wether those eggs were fertilised to begin with. For those with fully developed chicks inside: Did you manage temperature and humidity levels correctly? Did you do a test run with the machine and put in a extra thermometer and hygrometer to check on deviations compared with the numbers on the display? I happen to know that Brinsea had problems with a batch of fans / control unit. It might be you have one of them. Brinsea will know, based on the production date.
Great feedback and suggestions. Thank you!
Does the Vinegar 30% kill the grass?
Depends on the kind of grass. It will kill grass but may require multiple treatments.
I needed to watch that tool working for understanding it. Thank you!
My daughter has a mean rooster on her property that belongs to a neighbor. It attacks her & her family. How can people get it to quit attacking them?
Do you like the texture, taste, etc? Do you think the refrigerated lunch meat "container" will keep in the fridge for a week or so? [based on what you added to your ziplock].
We liked the second one better with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme. I would recommend slicing it and refrigerating it, not in the lunchmeat container. There is a hole (for the temp probe) in the lid and it is not an air-tight container. At least take it out of the container and put it in something more air tight for longer storage.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm Thanks! Sorry, I should have been more clear ... about the lunch meat container .. I meant ... like a vacuum-sealed bag, or ziplock, or glass storage container. Just whatever I'd store it in the deli drawer. Would it last about a week in something like that?
Yes. It will last at least a week. Salt and other seasonings also prolong shelf life. We freeze whatever of it we want for later use.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm Sweet, thanks!!
Need to give recipe please
Thanks for watching! We will keep this in mind. Basically, it is ground chicken and whatever spices you want to use. The first time, we just used salt and pepper. The second time we added salt, pepper, basil, and oregano and made it a bit more Italian.
I was rushed into moving from Texas to Missouri and it's tons of work. It was August and hot as the dickens! I'm praying for a smooth transition for y'all and lots of new adventures. Texas Deb 😁
Thank you! Prayers are appreciated.
Just a safety note for people who’ve never done this before: This is very very strong vinegar and is very corrosive to your skin and feels very harsh when inhaled. I wear a mask and gloves when working with this stuff and spraying. I use it for all sorts of things like peeling old wallpaper. Some people dilute it but I never have.
Thanks! Great advice.
I use 45% and never had any issues
Wow,you have a lot of chicken, good info on the water and feed 👍👊
Thank you!
Is it best to ferment the feed for just one day? Or would two days be ok too? I know after a while, it does grow "mold" if left too long. :)
You can go even longer in the cool and winter months. In warm summer months, I would not go more than 3 days. Great question!
Nice vlog ❤😂 can you make a funny one trying to catch chicks? 🙏🎉
It stresses me out you didn’t screw into any rafters lol
I can understand that. But, it is 3/4" decking and wood screws so I think we are safe.
good example - I was trying to see if unit was omni-direction so I can mount same situation as you - thx!
Yes! Once you use the app to show that the area is free from obstructions, the antennae will adjust itself automatically.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm my neck is seized from trying to look @ that app already lol - my concern was our house(south of where I plan to install & tall as heck...but I believe app results are ok - we have a kennel & was thinking of screwing mount over the runs of kennel..there's nothing there to worry about if a leak developed
Nece meat indeed
Eggshells don't breakdown for years. Earthworms cannot eat too much protein otherwise they'd die.
I add salt to this mixture too. Table salt will work just fine.
Salt will also help kill the weed. But, salt is NOT a good additive for garden soil. Only use the salt in areas you don't want to grow food.
@@SavvyOrganicsFarm what about using epsom salt following vinegar treatment? How long before planting?
@@katetremont8918 Epson salt is magnesium. It is not needed unless your soil is low in magnesium. Use Epson salt as a fertilizer and follow the directions on the bag/box.
Hey! I just saw this vid! can you spray it on the plant? you don't run the risk of burning the plant?
We have not had any trouble with the castile soap burning our plants. Ever!
Regarding the shade cloth on your greenhouse. I had the same problem with my greenhouse overheating and I used WHITE 50% shade cloth and it worked well. The fact that you used black shade cloth might be the reason that it did not reduce the temperature as the black would absorb the heat and conduct it to the inside.
Thanks. Now we know. Nothing like learning from mistakes.
✌️ 'PromoSM'
🥰🥰🥰
Thanks
Can you add water to make a bigger portion size of spray? At my work we have lots of areas to cover so the more the better.
Yes, but the more you dilute the vinegar the less effective it will be.
where did you get your jar sealer?
Amazon
Freeze dried herbs are the best!!! The taste is not even compared to dehydrated or air dried.
So true!
Do you will make one day a funny video trying to catch chickens for me?😂🙏🤍🐓
Amazing vlog 😍
Thank you!
I wondered why I haven't seen a video from you lately! Wishing you the best in finding your new homestead! I moved from Texas to my raw 5 acres in Missouri last August. It's tough work, especially alone, but it's so beautiful and makes up for the challenges. Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️

I’ve even had to admit to myself that people that I know that are slow they’ve already been dumb down and sometimes it’s not worth talking to people who are dumb down. They’re slow they can’t think for themselves. They’re just a walking tool and they need to take the Internet out of their hands.
What if you don’t have casteel can you use dawn?
Yes. That will work.
What sprayer do you guys use, the one's I've purchased say don't use anything acidic?
Husqvarna. Wash it well after each use.

@@SavvyOrganicsFarm Thank you. Oddly enough, I just bought this one. The man at Lowes told me it could handle vinegar but my other one clogged because of the salt.
