How to change spark plugs on a Ford Fusion
This video shows how to replace spark plugs on a Ford Fusion. Mine is a 2013 with a 1.6P engine. This process will be very similar for all vehicles, especially 4 cylinders, as most of those engines have all 4 spark plugs located at the top. I only recorded changing one, but the process will be the exact same for the other 3 next to it

    Thank you. I'm getting ready to do mine when it gets a little warmer. I'm glad you did this on the 2wd, 3.0l because all I've been finding are 4.0l and 4wd. On the 4wd, it's right above the front differential and looks pretty tough to get to. This looks a lot easier.

      @@mkp3824 yeah this one isn’t too bad. There is one bolt that’s a little funky to get to, if you have swivels/wobble sockets those are extremely helpful, but it’s doable without one. The small wire on the top is a little hard to just because you can’t see, but ya know, nothing can ever be simple

    So are you just not able to use the factory amp when you install an aftermarket radio? I need some explanation I’m just confused why you can’t tap into the connector coming off the back of the radio

    • @TheGarageDoc
      @TheGarageDoc 9 місяців тому

      Yeah it’s a bit confusing. When you put a new double din radio in, it comes with a wiring harness, because not every vehicle has the same connector. So the normal 8 wires ( 4 speakers each a + and -) that you connect the new radio to are usually the back of the radio because they usually have an amp inside them. But if you skip to 3:01 on this video, you’ll see that those 8 wires are actually in the trunk instead. And from the trunk, they run wires to the speakers. So the route I chose was to take 8 wires and run them from the new radio up front, and then go to each speaker from there. I hope that helps explain it some
