Storing movies alphabetically is not scalable and will easily become more of a chore than you ever want. Here's my suggestion as to how I store media, inventory, etc. For storing movies, here is my suggestion: Create a spreadsheet with the first column being a number starting with 1, second column is the name of the movie, and other columns to include actors, year, etc if desired. A location column indicates the box number that the movie resides. Your boxes should then be labeled starting with 1. Using the spreadsheet, you can easily find any and every movie and never have to worry about scalability. If you happen to remove a movie from your collection, simply number the new replacement movie with that old number. With the spreadsheet, you can easily sort the columns to find movies either alphabetically, organized by actor, year, etc. Don't lose the spreadsheet! 😮

I love these! I know many people like their media on display but I find it to be an EYESORE!!!

I cut the front slip covers out depending if it's Lenticular, foil, or embossed. The actual DVD cover has the back art anyway so you're not missing anything. It's like those special comic book covers when you flip through through them.

Thanks for the recommendation cause my turtle beach stealth 400 for PlayStation mic broke and it has been hard for me to play Fortnite without a mic and I have search everywhere to find some headphones that were wireless and had a durable mic that works when playing Fortnite through docked mode found some used one for cheap hopefully able to play with mic again

doesn't count as a collection if you're getting rid of the cases, folding the artwork, and keeping them hidden in boxes. The point of a collection is putting it on display. as someone with 3,631 dvds, I know what I'm talking about.

This is how I got scuff marks on all of my CDs and DVDs... The media is pressing against each other instead of floating in a tray. Over time it will scuff all of your discs... unless you never touch or move them and live in building with no vibration.

Im okay with this. I do have 8 plastic tubs full of dvds in cases and nowhere to display them, so theyre just taking up space out of sight. Im thinking of consoladating them like this. I like how its reversible back to case form if u want

I hope this works. Im buying wolfwalkers when i get the chance and the cover is in french. (I have a region free dvd player so it should play) But I would like the cover to be in English. There IS a region one version but its a bluray that comes with two other movies and its very pricy.

I do very similar, I use Discsox. I like it, however, when it comes to the early thick dvd sets, you have to cut to size. Some diehard collectors will frown at this. More so, when I initially did this at first I regretted it. But I got over the regret. It saves a lot of space, especially if you have a small apartment like I do. Also, I store the Blu-ray /DVD 📀 in binders. It does save on space.

Those look so cool, I totally destroyed all my sleeve artwork and cut them into little squares to fit binders, sucks.

I gave myself a book case but anything more than that I put in a dvd Binder and toss the box. I also care more about the actual DVD than the box. As long as I am able to watch it I don’t mind

I rather just deal with the cases. Since I prefer them and want the discs how they came. Same goes for all my game discs and cd jewel cases.

This is a really cool idea, but I’m not sure how well it would do for the longevity of this discs. Depending on how regularly the discs are added and removed they may become scratched, especially when there are multiple discs per sleeve. I have also heard rumours that the discs are more prone to rot when in sleeves but I am unsure of the validity of these claims.

Can you show how to download a game with a PUP pack? Every stinking one I try, I screw it up. I'm new and not sure where stuff goes. I also saw that some tables don't use ROM or b2s if you have a certain PUP??? I'm lost.

I love to have a collection on show, but with limited space, there's a limit to how much I can buy. This is a really good idea, and makes me excited to beef up my collection. I'd still have the more collectable sets on display, but for the bulk, I think I could do this.

Throwing away your DVD cases is like removing and discarding the covers of all your books just to save space. In my opinion, it doesn't make much sense, and you should save the DVD cases because they provide protection against dropping and scratching, not to mention some DVDs are valuable.
