I did not take video this year.

Not planning on recording matches this year. The best filming angle would be fieldside opposite the amps, but it seems like that is where the FMS is setup, so access will unfortunately be restricted.

Definition of "Momentary" possession. From the manual: "MOMENTARY describes rule violations that happen for fewer than approximately 3 seconds" G403: "ROBOTS may not have greater-than-MOMENTARY CONTROL of more than 2 CARGO at a time, either directly or transitively through other objects." In other words, you are allowed to hold more than 2 game pieces for 2.99... second periods.

Yeah - there were a lot of people upset about it. But they stayed just inside the letter of the rule, most of the time. During this match you can even see the nearest ref talking with the head ref about it and watching them closely.

I wish. Getting field-side access to Einstein is tough these days.

Haha, nah its like any other game. Football has leather balls the teams are trying score in a goal on the other side of a field. The 2023 FRC game has cubes and cones which teams are trying to score on their side of the field. High-school/professional hybrid teams spend ~6 weeks designing and building these robots that compete at numerous levels, culminating in the world championship you see some match videos of on my channel.

I’ve been wondering how often non-FRC people see these videos. Are you unfamiliar with the competition or just mesmerized by the robot?

@@JakandDaxterAddict Ah, its a pretty simple game. Get cubes/cones from the opposite side of the field, then score them on yours. The robots are designed and built by high-school/professional hybrid teams over 6 weeks.

Agreed. 1561 had a zippy bot and cool shooting scoring method.

We played against them at Green Country and darn they were quick.

1561 was getting the same amount of cycles as 2056, let's be honest. :) -member of 111 (we picked them as 1st pick)
