Have you ever long casted from the beach for sharks with a conventional reel? If so, what is the largest mono that gets it done and casts 100 yds as top shot?I am spooling up an avet hxj 5/2 magic cast raptor with braid backing.

Years ago there our 120 lbs of fresh tuna frozen got it back 40 hrs later . Landed in Nashville an our fish was in Dallas. American airlines. Re froze an 75 percent was mushy shit. No reimbursement from airline . Tough shit but we caught their ass on a kite.

The silence in that video when the reel broke on that tuna was real.

My biggest fish in 62 yrs came from the bay. 450 blue Marlin. Trolling for a dang sailfish. Mullet was the bait bout 8 inches long butterflied go figure. One hour an 39 minutes later it was feeding the orfanage at the children's school. Love y'all's vids ! Keep safe stay together an party like y'all don't have a penny in it.

U guys all the way out of bay of Banderas. Corportania is money rocks are money out of bay. Punta Minta is killer out side of beach for roosters. Nuevo at Paradise village has its own small marina. Awesome access to the bay. Jetties have some nice chalanen sea bass from rocks on swim baits . Best food I e ever eaten
