This night was a brought to you by all those listed above but especially Larry Donn Gillihan who played a gig at the VFW and Wildfire Willie and his entourage from Sweden came to see "The Great Larry Donn"! It was a mix of happenstances when Larry's gig at the VFW brought Hairy Larry and myself to come audio record while Mark Denny and Don Holt came to video the event and then the happening at Terry Carter's place! Like I said, in the immortal words of Dr. John: "Such a Night"!!!
Richard Boals! Where are you now??
Wildfire Willie from Sweden on guitar facing camera; Hairy Larry on guitar next to Willie; Terry Carter on Saxophone; Larry Donn on electric piano and vocals; Tommy Riley on drums; Scott Mathis on bass; Mark Denny did the video; Don Holt on camera; various friends... In the immortal words of Dr. John: "Such a Night!"
I had the pleasure of meeting and jammiing with Mark Feb 06 in Columbia SC, as he just played at the BUDWEISER blues bash in Charleston and was passing thru Columbiia, on is way home...i got him a litttle gig at a friends bar for a little extra gas money, lol...reat time great man...RIP, Blue Pan Jerry
AWESOME. JUST JAMMIN.
Too cool! Great tunes!
That is my dad, Kenny Arnold, on the drums. Best drummer I have ever seen play.
Yeah, you right. As a guitarist, I learned So MUCH from sitting by the side of the stage watching Kenny. He was a SUPER SPECIAL groove monster. Is he still alive?
Oh ! ? I was workin at Kings palace
Oh shit it's even got my long haired mess!!
Ha Ha this ones got Jonathan on it! Love it.
Good ole Bix. thanks for posting Mark! ua-cam.com/video/upNISiDMs_w/v-deo.html

Thank you for all you gave in your performance at the Famous Silver Moon and The People Helping People community center in Amazon Ar. ThankYo to Who filmed and posted this as it brought more happy memories than you will ever know.
hi thanx for the upload! did your tape run out after "it hurts me too" ? because there was a whole encore segment consisting of these songs that i'd love to have an alternate source for because on danF's recording of same show the mics become very overloaded during this part: it hurts me too serious ** > if i were you > you are so beautiful > star spangled banner jam > auld lang syne jam > chuck berry jam...
Rest in Peace, Cat.......you were one of wild ones !!
You can just tell luther was a wonderful soul amazing human being I hate that it took me this long to find him
He actually was. I met him when I was 12 and he asked me to come backstage after the show. Was a great experience. One year later he died unfortunately.
Does anyone have Jimmy King playing the guitar?
Geile Band
I Thank God I got to meet The Master of the harmonica..I know you have a huge audience in heaven..God Bless you Mark
Remember seeing Richard Boals at Bernie's Bagels in Columbus multiple times in the early 90's - always enjoyed his show.
RIP Bix we love you!! -Dewey Hiler
I think I was at this show. Talked to him for a bit. He's like me he and doesn't dig clubs but loves to perform. Talked to him for a spell. A really great time when Beale street wasn't like it is now. -Dewey Hiler

Guitarist: Steve Jacobs. Played with the late Marc Hurwitz aka Lips Lackowitz and The tough Luck Band.
Some bull shyt there's only one Howlin Wolf and he passed in 1976. This is contraband and propaganda.
If you would have paid any attention they said the SON of Howlin Wolf=
Grammy nominated and multiple WC Handy award winner. Quite a treat in person.
Love this! That's John Lindberg on the Fender Bass, Kenny Arnold on the drums and Mike Wahqaas, (sic)
Mike Vlahakis
I love Jim S. too. Got to see him with Luther Allison in the mid-90s.

Hey Patrick, it’s your cousin Thomas
met the man in the late 80s in chicagos upper side. we were at the same business buying greyhound busses. he was picking up his new tour bus. i have followed his and his dads music ever since.
The music is Really Great!!! The Drummer is Really Sexy!!! I am the President of the Drummer's Fan Club!!! The person recording did an Awesome Job, too!!!
That looked like a crackingly good night with friends. That's what music is all about... Nice one guys :0)
And to respond to bronwyn about the pink paisley fender?? that was his then guitarist Gerry Moss!
I was Mark's roadie from 1989-1991, and I have some great memories of my time with him and the Unknowns. I was there with them when they became the first house band at BB's. He opened my eyes to a whole new genre to me that I still listen to avidly today. I think about those days a lot and I was devastated to learn of his passing.
Hey Mark is my dad!
An acquired taste. voice takes getting used to. worth the trouble,
