This night was a brought to you by all those listed above but especially Larry Donn Gillihan who played a gig at the VFW and Wildfire Willie and his entourage from Sweden came to see "The Great Larry Donn"! It was a mix of happenstances when Larry's gig at the VFW brought Hairy Larry and myself to come audio record while Mark Denny and Don Holt came to video the event and then the happening at Terry Carter's place! Like I said, in the immortal words of Dr. John: "Such a Night"!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting and jammiing with Mark Feb 06 in Columbia SC, as he just played at the BUDWEISER blues bash in Charleston and was passing thru Columbiia, on is way home...i got him a litttle gig at a friends bar for a little extra gas money, lol...reat time great man...RIP, Blue Pan Jerry

Just happened upon this what a surprise finding a treasure today that was 25 yr. ago. Danced a many a Dance to Jr Rogers but many more to the Jennie God rest and bless her soul and and the Guys starting lead singer Doug Greeno Band what an honor to hear this again. Such a treasure . Thank you for all you gave in your performance at the Famous Silver Moon and The People Helping People community center in Amazon Ar. ThankYo to Who filmed and posted this as it brought more happy memories than you will ever know.

hi thanx for the upload! did your tape run out after "it hurts me too" ? because there was a whole encore segment consisting of these songs that i'd love to have an alternate source for because on danF's recording of same show the mics become very overloaded during this part: it hurts me too serious ** > if i were you > you are so beautiful > star spangled banner jam > auld lang syne jam > chuck berry jam...

met the man in the late 80s in chicagos upper side. we were at the same business buying greyhound busses. he was picking up his new tour bus. i have followed his and his dads music ever since.

The music is Really Great!!! The Drummer is Really Sexy!!! I am the President of the Drummer's Fan Club!!! The person recording did an Awesome Job, too!!!

That looked like a crackingly good night with friends. That's what music is all about... Nice one guys :0)

I was Mark's roadie from 1989-1991, and I have some great memories of my time with him and the Unknowns. I was there with them when they became the first house band at BB's. He opened my eyes to a whole new genre to me that I still listen to avidly today. I think about those days a lot and I was devastated to learn of his passing.

Thanx woeever u r for posting....I grew up with mark we all taught ourselfs to play,at first he played flute,as time went by he started playing sax,we worked together,played together,cried together,lived together,came out to L.A. to visit me there and he went to the grammys,what a smile on his face that nite,........i miss u so....my old friend.....save me a seat.....!

If I am not mistaken it was lung cancer not brain cancer.

Gerry Moss is one of the best blues guitarist in the world. I am proud that I got to know him and Jerry Bone when they played in "The Famous Unknowns" with Mark Sallings...They were a GREAT band!!!! I saw this band play several times, too. These guys are GREAT!!!
