You're right, I totally whiffed on actually using Blast + Somersault and just left an extra 11 damage on the table Blast > Somersault > GiaF > Conductivity > Blast > Conductivity > Giaf > Condutivity > Volzar > Etchings > GiaF > Sigil > Giaf 4x Giaf = 16dmg 2x Blast = 8dmg 8x Volzar + Etchings = 11dmg Total = 35dmg

Hey! So for context my starting hand is: Scout the Periphery, Lace with Inertia, Seek and Destroy, and Amplifying Arrow. My choice to arsenal Amp Arrow is because I have 3 0-cost pumps ready to stack on the Amp Arrow, which also lets me draw another 0-cost pump (50% chance), or draw a card I want to arsenal. The other option is arsenal a 0-cost pump and then hope to draw 1-cost arrow and use my Amp Arrow as a pitch card. This option forces me to use DD that turn, which isn't bad but I know that my Amp Arrow is a 0 for 5 already (3cost pumps). In game I drew a RitL, and it would have been better for me to have arsenalled a pump in this case, but like I said/implied I chose to play a higher EV line rather than a high roll line.

Thanks! You could be right, and it's probably safer to say he will continue to show up as a PQ winner. I'm just not a believer that he is stronger than Vis or Verdance, and he exists in the overlap of those two while not excelling at either of their playstyles.

@TheScrublordsPrayer Thanks! It's much more fun to actually interpret the results and tell the story, rather than just read back the results (which isn't useful content imo.) Reach out to your locals and ask to borrow decks to play at Armourys, FaB has a great community and if you have a local scene I'm sure they'd love to help you get started. Also just mention the words "looking for bulk for X hero" and people will jump at the opportunity to do some clean up of their bulk piles. Oh, and Azalea will likely LL next RTN season, unless Brodie comes back and cleans up the BH circuit again.

My only issue with the line I ended up taking was that I pitched the RitL instead of flipping it while face down, that means that my opponent knows that I'm running it in the matchup. It was final turn and a game winning attack though so it doesn't matter, it's just a knit pick.

This is why I started reviewing my games, I weaponize my own cringe to sear those mistakes into memory. Identifying mistakes is an important step to improvement but painful (especially when recording video proof and airing them.)

Enigma doesn't have on hits (besides CnC) they are purely a number deck, this is plan is worsen by CYB because it requires a certain threshold to be played before they play the ones for above the average value. So how do we abuse this? Go quickly and trust your on-hits to carry, CYB doesn't block and won't bail out the damage they take until they make it through their full deck. Enigma in general has gotten tougher because of the D-reacts they're running now, but CYB dilutes the rest of their gameplan. Most important is looking at how and why you lose, that will be the real answer to beating them. Good luck!

Are you referring to Nick Gabler's and Aaron Fagalde's performance from BH: Milwaukee? As well as his surge of popularity/win-rate on Talishar. It looks like Viserai has potential to be a strong deck this format, but he's competing with Aurora and Florian for aggressive Runeblade and "midrange"/value Runeblade respectively. That's the part that I'm suspect of, will he be better than either of those decks.

It's not quite there yet and I'm actively trying more outlandish cards. But the fact that you can run Aim Counter cards without interfering with the core functionality is promising!

100% correct, good call out. Things like missed opts, blocking too early, or improper pitch priority compound over the long run and lose you a percentage of games. But BnS is my favourite arsenal target so the deck was kind to blind draw it for me. If I had opted/drew pump I would have kept it for arsenal to hold tempo, and the only cards I would have bottomed would have been Drill Shot and Nock (I think).

Blossom of Spring is a great substitute. Will require a little bit of a change in mentally, where instead of relying Tunic as an attrition/value engine, treat Blossom as an explosive piece or as a way to play small hands in the late game. Still look for the same scenarios to use it though - pop it when you have a 0-cost arrow and lots of pumps.

You can also use one of this: - Hidden Agenda - Similar to Blossom of spring, it need you to have a face down arrow but it's not one per turn so it's more explosive if you have the right combination You can do something like hidden agenda + Bolt'n shot + rain razors + hidden agenda + another Bolt'n shot + a non attack action + death dealer + another arrow And you'll have free resources to pay for death dealer and the arrow (the order of the cards on this example can be different also) -Trench of Sunken Treasure - It's not the best with skullbone crosswrap but it's usefull, has arcane barrier 1 and blade break 1. It's better on long games becouse you can use it more that once -Heartened Cross Strap is maybe better than Blossom of Spring if you have Battering Bolt -You can also use Threadbare tunic if you don't have Blossom of Spring (or if you're against Kano, as this is instant it can be used as Spell Fray Cloak if you have Arcane Barrier) -Seeker's Gilet, Ironhide Plate and Ironrot Plate are also playable I guess, you can try if you don't have any of the others

Good breakdown of the options. I agree that there are other chest pieces to consider, and definitely worth trying out. However; I've found that Blossom's consistency and lack of setup is what makes it such a viable replacement to Tunic. Cards like Hidden Agenda and Heartened are conditionally better, but since the general case is much more frequent that means that on average I'd expect Blossom to help you win more games than the other options. re: Hidden Agenda Agreed that Hidden Agenda has a higher ceiling if you're able to setup a double BnS turn with Rain Razors, but's that's too narrow and you can end up warping the turns around trying to set up but then end up never finding a combo turn. re: Trench If you don't have Crosswrap, then Trench becomes much more appealing. Trench > Death Dealer sounds like a fine alternative core loop to Crosswrap:Opt 1. Opt 1 is just so strong with Death Dealer/Azalea though that I would never choose Trenching over Opting. re: Heartened Cross Strap Heartened + Bull's Eye Bracer is actually really interesting tech for when you are bringing in Battering Bolt. If you're not running Tunic I would agree this is the better option than Blossoming.

Thanks :) Access to aim counters meaning Immobilizing Shot and Stone Rain are viable inclusions is an interesting path to explore with Death Dealer.

I knew they couldn't block a BnS for 10 dominated because their arsenal was Arc Lightning, so playing the Ravenous after Azalea flip shows my opponent a card was drawing into but that information doesn't change my decision making on the turn. Overall it was a super minor difference, if I'd played the BnS for 7 then it was a mistake (not being able to reload Endless Arrow)... I love this deck :D

Thanks! I very rarely activate Crow's Nest (1 in 20 games) so I cut it from the list for make room for a sideboard slot. However at Armouries I'm still running it as an 81st card to track if I want to include it back in.
