    Hello, 1) I heard that Forge competitor QForm has the same approach of Bi-Mesh. I am just curious, do you know as an expert in metal forming simulation, who had implemented Bi-Mesh technique into software first Transvalor or QForm? 2) I noticed that Forge creates pretty coarse mesh without refinement box. Is it possible to implement finest mesh size for outside surface of the WP (e.g. 3-4 layers of fine mesh) and coarse mesh inside (since we do not so interested in fine triangulation inside) and implement for outer mesh intelligent mesh size based on curvature of WP geometry and possible (future) contact with die. And as well, intentionally create fine mesh in areas where high deformation occurs (or high materiel flow takes place) or small distance between dies?

      Hello Mr H, thank you for watching our UA-cam Channel and I appreciate your questions and feedback. 1) Transvalor FORGE implemented the Bi-Mesh method earlier, QForm went through a revamp of their GUI and solver in the 2010s I believe, and they implemented that method afterwards as well. They also implemented another method called ALE we had for more than 2 decades for Ring Rolling applications as well. 2) Yes in FORGE, as well as any of our software, you can define refinement boxes, several within to go even finer if needed. You touch a great point here with automatic remeshing where it is needed. We have worked a lot on this to relieve the user from the cumbersome task of predicting where fine mesh will be needed and setting up the boxes (or any shape you want really). With our latest version FORGENxT 4.0, users have the option to use our predictive remeshing tool to re-mesh based on prediction of contact (see where the mesh will need to be finer) and based on physical parameters such temperature gradient, strain gradient,... I other words, these are the first steps towards a fully autonomous re-meshing with intelligence put in the software, and remove the task from users. We have also work on our re-meshing algorithms so that we do not end up with a coarse mesh, it is now much more consistent. I hope it answers your questions.       @@TRANSVALORAMERICASMARKETING 1) Thank you for answer. 2) I touched this topic, because once I saw video from AFDEX (Korean product) and was amazed with its intelligent mesher. Then I tried to find as many information as I could about that software. As result I have found some articles about their mesher and seems like all the techniques I have mentioned above they implemented. But I do not know for sure because I am not a customer of AFDEX. I just had opportunity to try DEFORM v10, QFORM v9 and FORGE v2011 at university. By the way, it is a great thing that you created new workbench instead of GLPre and GLView, because they looked out-of-date. Again, thank you for your extend answer on my questions!

From my point of view it would be more beneficial for the product (FORGE) if company provided some kind of webinar with possibility for the members to try working in the software. E.g. QFORM has cloud version of the software and it gives possibility to distribute it for any user/student/webinar member without worrying of further illegal use, because you distribute only GUI but without solver. And additionally, more videos on the channel with some interesting problem solved more than profitably for UA-cam channel amount of views and product interest. Again, it is just thoughts.
