Mirrors Edge aesthetic is next to none, it always had that ray tracing feel before ray tracing was even a thing.

Eh, i like old faith's outfit insofar that it makes more sense for a group of runners living off of what they can to use stuff that doesnt necessarily fit them or needs some amount of tweaking. Catalyst's outfit is too modern, feels like the runners have an adidas store nearby... Even if it activates the neurons. Speaking of the mod that adds ropes and stuff, i used to watch a tutorial to optimise my movement (catalyst is fairly easy to abuse and become a superhuman parkour ninja) and a little bug that gives you a slow fall if you crouch at the right time while falling off the edge. I used the mod to go as far as i gould outside of bounds to see where Dice stopped developing and only put up fake buildings. There is a surprising amount of rooftops that you can explore! The game feels like it was reworked in the last stretch before release, lots of things feel work in progress, and it saddens me. But there are people who care and im happy about that.

I love 3rd person take downs. Gives extra vibe. And new look. It got boring in 1st ME. So its a step forward. Life bars are completely unneeded. If enemies have lots of health. You will figure it out by playing it :)

This is the source for the first song called "free old carti type beat" by Prod. Kj2turntt: "ua-cam.com/video/DaOh-nWZ09M/v-deo.html" I have no idea why these youtubers don't source the songs they use in the their videos. He only mentions the authors name in the description. luckily he has a youtube channel and the song is his most popular one so all i had to to was find his channel and sort his videos by the popular and viola. there's the song. As for the second one. I have no idea. He has no youtube channel. And when i googled it all i got was some soundcloud music. So i then searched his name on the soundcloud and i got 99 tracks with his name on the bracket (strangely he doesn't have a channel of his own. i have no idea why). So guess what i did then? i go through all the tracks and finally found a track called "pills and potions [prod. sashko beats]" by a user called blackmarketpackrunner. link: "soundcloud.com/blackmarketpackrunner/pills-and-potions-prod-sashko". But this has a voiceover it. I still have no idea whats the original called or where can i find it. If someone know it please let me know what it is because thats the song that i wanna hear and i can't find it. lonng story short i hate these youtubers who blatantly uses others music on their videos and does not have the minimum decency of sourcing the song or what even its name is. All we barely have are the authors name (that is if the so called youtubers feels grateful enough to add their names). So good luck finding their channel (If they even have one that is. If not then sucks to be u i guess) and going through their entire catalogue to find the song that u wanna find. All of which could be avoided if the youtuber SOURCEDDDDDD the SOOONGSSS that they USEEEEDDDD in the vieo.

It just saddens me to no end that we will probably never receive another mirror's edge game...
