Incandescent bulbs light is closer to the natural rays of the sun.

I was wondering what frequencies of light/infrared/heat would be produced if one was to put a red piece of glass in front of a standard 500w incandescent heat lamp. I assume it would block most of the non-red light and a lot of the heat. My question is whether it could be used to provide therapeutic levels of the correct red wavelengths, near red, infrared etc, depending on the filter. The experiment might make a good video!

So I searched YT for accurate red light performance. And your video popped up. If im going to do this eye improvement I want healthy accuracy thanks for the information.

So, i should take the irradiance that this company states as the irradiance of the red light panel and divide by 2?
