I agree with you..whether your preference was to open or keep it boxed the model and packaging should appear mint and the model near perfect (aka not a loose hood)...and especially if it's a premium model which it was. 👍 Kinder glad really I've never signed up to rlc club/membership etc cause I can bet I'd of been disappointed...I just get the odd rlc on ebay for a decent price if it's one I really like and isn't worth absolute silly money like the CandyStriper Gasser lol.

Watching this makes me want to figure out a more durable solution for some applications and the thing that came to mind was carefully bending the provided axle in the middle just a bit and grinding a little pit to hold the apex in and modify the slots of the axle holders so the axle has clearance. Maybe shim the bottom of the axle slots near the edges of the chassis and remove a tiny bit of material in the upper slots of the same thickness. For my taste a gentle camber job would be perfect. Theres got to be a way. I don’t mean to shit on your work. The method you’re using is good for less aggressive play and even for me that’s sometimes all that’s needed. But sometimes I have different requirements. All methods are valid

I don’t mess with camber yet but I also design things to be durable enough to play with like I’m not 42. So sometimes I shell out for the stainless tubes with pins (hypodermic tubes as it turns out), or .032” Music wire from K&S. I don’t always mind gluing the wheels to their axles. The strongest way would be to thread wire the width of the pins all rh way through axle tubes and then clip off the ends. Or leave enough space for a pin on one end so you glue on the non pin and and the wheel on the pin end can freely spin. I’m brainstorming some other solutions but I haven’t figured out how to describe them in any sort of concise way yet

Id like to see your analysis of Tomica cars since they usually have suspension, use a simpler system but a slightly thicker axle, which some folks fixed with thin shims made from styrene plastic strips. Re the difficulties with wheel swapping I realized what’s needed is some sort of spacer or washer between the back of the wheel and the edge of the chassis and it needs to be wider than the ones mod my ride sells and complete donuts not c clips like the MMR one. Also you need to leave a bit of wiggle room between the wheels because of when the axle depresses at an angle when articulating over uneven ground. Aaaaad they don’t exist yet that I know of any available affordable printing media is able to resist the wear. I hope to design such things and sell stl’s but I’m not set up for that yet. Btw look at the wacky builds Jakarta diecast project have done with majorette cars. They dont build for durability but they make art that often looks bigger than it is and is beautifully executed.

Do the wheels come off the axles? if so you can pull the wheels snd then try to re-insert the axles in the other guides... I'm actually pretty good friends with the guy that designed these...

These tooned cars started from Muscle Machines i think. The cars was all USA muscle and classic cars. The brand was acquired by Maisto and they are now doing tooned version of Japanese cars.

Holy adventure Force.🤪 I did a couple of wheel swaps with this line. I did a red square body Blazer and a black Grand National. The Toro Lamborghini is dope. The right fender needs retooling. Awesome job on both. Your videos are always great teaching videos. I’ve done a couple Adventure force vehicles. I did the 56 Chevy and the blazer. Disappointed with the 56 though it would be all metal. It was half plastic. The top half, but the blazer was metal. They did turn out nice with paint and wheel swap. Holy Adventure Force 😂😎
