Do you Like Oblivion? Then You'll love This Game! Gaming Recommendation
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion might not be as popular as Skyrim, or as complex as Morrowind, but it is special in it's own way. And if you loved it, you will love Kingdom Come Deliverance.
And in this video I'll tell you what makes Oblivion special and why KCD might jive with you if you also like these aspects in the Elder Scrolls game.
Art by the ever so talented Mika!

100 things to do in GTA San Andreas - The Perfect Desert Island Game
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, the Definitive Edition just got a huge patch fixing most of the major bugs the game had and added a Classic Lighting option to make the games more faithful to their original release, and that made me want to play San Andreas again, something I do almost on a yearly base. But this time I want to show you why San Andreas is in my opinion the definitive "Desert Island" ga...

The Relaxing World of Fishing in Non-fishing Videogames

Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy XV, Red Dead Redemption 2, these games couldn't be more different from one another, and the thing the unite them all is fishing! I absolutely love fishing in videogames (And in real life too, obviously), and in this video we explore the activity of fishing in a few videogames that stuck with me, and I hope you guys en...
Chocobo Racing, the forgotten middle child of kart racing games
In this video we talk about probably one of the most forgotten kart racing games of the fifth generation, made by Squaresoft no less: Chocobo Racing! Going against some very heavy competition in Crash Team Racing and Mario Kart 64, it was mostly left behind and nowadays very few people talk about it, so I'm here to let you know that it not only exists, but it's actually pretty good! Specially i...
The End of Edgyness in videogames ft. Twisted Metal Black
Twisted Metal Black and edgy, loud, striking, and isn't afraid to say what it needs to say. More games should be like that, unafraid of being unique and made for a niche audience. These games that dare to stand out amongst the crowd are the ones that are remembered, and I miss them dearly. In this video, we talk about how edgyness was prevalent in games of the 2000's, what made them special and...

The PS1 Crash Bandicoot trilogy is amazing, and the second game might be my favourite in the series. So I decided to talk a bit about it and what makes it special. What is your favourite Crash Game? The children card game that children can't beat - Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories
In this video we take a look at one of the hardest card games ever created, Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for the original playstation. For some reason, Konami decided to release this game even before the official rules of the card game were decided, making it unnecessarily hard, due to the "creative" liberties of the game. Have you played this game before? What do you think about it? Let me kno...
Is Need for Speed Underground the best NFS?
In this video, we do a very shallow dive into Need for Speed Undergound, explaining what makes it special and why you should care about this fan favourite.
I feel like the aesthetics are pretty similar even with the ui with the gold and parchment in the ui. On a side note I've never been so eager for the quest objective: pull weeds as i have been in KC:D
Getting jacked by picking flowers never gets old!
Evil bunny😂 it’s the video game equivalent of “ you just learned how to ride a bike, now you’re ready for the half pipe” KCD is the hardest game I ever played.
That is true, it is quite hard! But hey, the leveling system of Oblivion is the equivalent of the mega ramp, so we're half way there! hahaha
Oblivion is basically a power-fantasy in comparrison to KCD. Oblivion's combat is like whacking things repeatedly with a wet pool noodle, while KCD at least attempts something more in line with how actual melee combat would go...
Fair enough. But Oblivion has its moments, NPCs can be quite challenging in combat every once in a while, like the Arena for example, if you're not prepared you get your ass handed to you there, especially in the early game.
Nope. I'm waiting for Oblivion Remake. KCD is not just my cup of tea.
It's alright, KCD is a hard sell for some people, I understand. I'm also hyped for the Oblivion remake, I hope they don't screw it up!
I enjoyed your video very much, so I liked and subscribed
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Honestly? I hated playing as some shit farmers' /blacksmith son that couldn't even read named Henry. Like bruh the whole personal journey of the main character is to retrieve a sword. (Only because you were scripted to lose a fight no matter how good you are) and turns out *spoilers * Your shit farmer dad wasnt even your dad, you're and the badtsrd son of some lord, thats like the only reason henry makes any social progress and gets respect. KCD was so lame narrativly and lacked true player expression.
I don't think the only reason Henry makes any social progress is entirely based on his class, I think the moment he started getting recognition is when he saves Lord Hans Capon, sure, by that point some people already knew the truth about his true dad, but it wasn't widespread. Solving the Neuhof case also helped a lot in showing how dependable Henry can be. It's unfortunate you didn't enjoy the narrative, I found it quite refreshing, I liked playing as a nobody that had to prove he could be someone, but I understand your gripes with it.
I enjoyed KCD, but the magic system is so wide, deep, and complex that a game with no magic system really just can’t compare.
Fair enough.
i remember watching a pre-alpha presentation of KCD and the menus shown had major oblivion vibes, thats when i knew Oblivion was an infkuence on KCD, and thats when i knew i had to play KCD
You're right, the menus and UI design is very similar to Oblivion. Sad that a lot of people dislike Oblivion menus, it almost seems like a relic of the past now, with all of these minimalist UIs we have nowadays.
@@TatsuRabbitI really like oblivion's ui.
Yes, KCD is a great fit for Oblivion players that are looking for a romp in a medieval world full of character and challenges. Some looking solely for the fantasy aspect may disagree, but they can maybe try Summoner or the Witcher series. But as a fan of Oblivion's medieval world and go your own way questing with tougher conbat, KCD is a dream come true new adventure.
I never played Summoner, I'll check it out!
Valeu!
I'm a big fan of fantasy, so unfortunately the recommendation breaks down when it comes to the setting, but I have heard good things about it.
@@EIA-Observer fair enough! If the fantasy setting is that important, I recommend King's Field IV on the PS2, I think it has more in common with Morrowind, but it's great nonetheless!
Ooooh kingsfield is indeed an amazing recommendation as well!!!@@TatsuRabbit
Yeah, I love it as well, it's such a vibe!
Gotta agree the game is worth recommending I don't enjoy it but I would still recommend it
That's an interesting take, what makes you not enjoy it? And why would you still recommend it despite not enjoying it?
Your aneurysm is giving me an accent mhm mhm
@@DarkWallay finally I'm not the only one with an accent here! Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of the aneurysm...
Bro really said to go for a walk in a grand theft auto game
Hey man, sometimes you gotta clear your head between all the chaos and mayhem.
next gta vice city, then gta 3
Vice City is on the list, I'll get to it eventually, but I don't know if I'm able to find 100 things to do in GTA 3, I love that game, but it's very barebones in activities to do compared to SA and VC. But I'll try!

Oh brother what an accent lmao I don't think i've ever heard anyone speak so well and naturally but have such a thick accent lol Anyways, it's cool that you're getting some attention, good luck with your channel dude!
@@Blankult hahaha, I'll take that as a compliment! Let's see if as time goes on if the accent will get better or worse! Thank you, thanks very kind!
@TatsuRabbit I mean, it doesn't really matter, since you speak so well, it's just a very strong signal for every brazilian to recognize lol
I'd say you could cover the whole series, see how it grew and all that. Personally, my favorite is Metal Slug X, but really, all of them are good. And then there's also other Nazca-produced games that have a similar style, like Gun Force 2 and In the Hunt (btw, ce n é brasileiro d vdd se nunca viu esse jogo vendido como "Metal Slug Submarino" na feirinha kkkkk)
Great, another BR UA-camr for me to keep up with! I've played both games growing up, and still do. They infuriate me so much, but still just mucking around their maps is great. Cheers from Rio, man!
@@pinkstinger It's funny when a game makes us so mad but we still like them, right? Almost like a toxic relationship. hahaha Valeu brother!
Simple Answer: No Long Answer: No because it turned what NFS was (High Profile Sports Cars) into a joke with crappy cheap japanese cars and other shit vehicles, amidst the popularity of the shitty Fast and Furious Franchise. Or in other words: The original NFS was a college student, Underground and most what followed was the worthless, drug addicted ghetto nogger.
I love both of these!
@@tomassiqueira5172 Same here!
I spent a major chunk of my childhood on this game. Thank you for this.
i just stumbled across your channel by chance, only my second video. are you brazilian? my azorean grandmother was married to a brazilian man for a big part of my childhood who had a step son that closer to me than my blood uncle
@@TylerBonenfant yup! Brazilian born and raised! The way I speak is similar to your step-uncle?

@@TylerBonenfant Same! I played this game to death!
You just unlocked my memories of this game. Great content. BTW, judging by the `cansado' meme, vc é BR?
Thanks for the recommendation, algorithm. Played both games on my childhood, at the time Driver was the most realistic game my mind could imagine. I just had the first CD so unfortunately I couldn't go to Vegas or Rio, didn't drove our Corcel clone but at least I had the Kombi on Havana map. For sure the game was ahead of his time. Great video, bro. Keep up the good work.
@@MatLaren So I wasn't crazy, it is a Corsel clone, isn't it? I tried to pinpoint which car is which in Brazil but could only identify the corsel. One other car looks like an Opala, but very loosely. I liked getting the kombi In Havana too and pretending it was a school kombi, like the one I used to go to class. Hahaha Thank you very much for the kind comment!
@TatsuRabbit Yes, it was. But if I'm not mistaken it's the only real Brazilian car clone of the map. The rest of them are based on American/European cars such as Mercedes and Ford's.
@@MatLaren Makes sense, no wonder I couldn't identify any of them.
Man i have got to just say.. ive been watching a lot of videos of people complaining about 'woke' games and DEI ruining games and people slinging shite at each other and arguing.. this video and your channel is a great cleanser - a nice breath of fresh air. I needed this ,thanx mate and i love your sense of humour. One of the happiest subs ive ever given 👍
@@jubeaumont6305 Negativity brings the clicks, that's why people love arguing amongst each other. People seem to forget that games are supposed to be escapism and be fun, it's important to remind them that every now and again, right? Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
I really enjoyed your sense of humour mate, 10/10. 👍
@@jubeaumont6305 Thank you very much!
Your accent is pretty cool whoever you are from must be full of very cool people
@@Mega2223-BR for some reason I feel like the same applies to you, I'm sure wherever you're from is chock-full of beautiful and awesome people. ;)
You know what's (to me) another outstanding feature of Driver 2, not found in many driving games of the era including Driver: You are the wheelman (AKA) Driver 1... Curves! Roads with curves made the map look more alive, rather than just boxes, and made the playing experience more realistic.
@@JesusGarciaLopez Oh yeah, you got a point, I remember that in Driver 1 all curves were sharp 90 degrees angles, right? Another thing WSPC has in common with Driver 2 then, good catch!
Ps1 was an amazing Era to be young for
@@NathanJackLouttit absolutely, I'm very nostalgic about it!

I think the fishing in Sonic Adventure haunts anyone who grew up with it
@@DeoChomp It's the one with big cat, right? What is the deal with it? I've never played it. It's hard, or is it annoying?
@TatsuRabbit the lures you can get in the game are optional, quite out of the way and you are never told about them. When you go fishing without them on the later levels, the chance Froggy(the thing you have to catch each level) has a higher and higher chance of just getting away when you're trying to reel him in. Every level as Big the Cat you have to do this and you have to complete his story to get the final ending so this is mandatory. If you watch the Game Grumps play as him during the beach level you'd probably see what a lot of people experienced playing as the cat.
@@DeoChomp I see, so to get the true ending, you need so basically hunt down the secret lures, meaning that the fishing part it's more mandatory than it initially seem, I can see how some people that don't care that much about the fishing minigame could be bothered by this, that's unlucky...
Loved the video! The backstory was so funny xD
