Indian knitter living in the States now! But I learnt to knit English style in the states! Your video is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Thank you for the upload!
Thank you for the very clear and helpful demonstration!

Thank you so much for your video 🙏💝
Do you have a tutorial how do you catch the long floats?
Hi, th is for the video, I have always been afraid of double pointed needles haha, now I see it is easy, I have 2 questions, one is why do you do a decrease in front and then from the back?? And the other is where can I find the pattern for this hat?? Thank you!
👍🇦🇺👏❤💙💛💚🧡💜🎊🎊🎊
Thank you! I had been trying the 2nd method, as shown to me by my chocheting friend, but it just didnt work for me. Your method does!
Great! Thank you for letting me know.
Thank you so much for your excellent videos. I attended an adult beginners' crochet class, but the teacher was left-handed. She tried, but I just couldn't get it. I turned to you tube...thank you, I now get it and have produced my first granny squares!
Thank you for this video. I'm learning to knit and wasn't clear on how yo work with two yarns. This has reassured me that my instinct was correct.
I am trying to learn which method I can do more easily and less time consuming. I knit English style and pick up and lay down each yarn. Got to practice how your other methods. Thanks for your video! I have watched several.
Lovely knit hat.
Thank you for this video. I'm a Portuguese knitter, so normally in a 1 colour work i hold the yarn around my neck it's amazing to control tention but for colour work gets really messy. I've been watching loads of videos on how to do it the English way but couldn't quite understand the process properly. Finally, with your video, I'm now more confident and can knit quicker. Thank you 😍
i pull my socks and mitts inside out to do it it's much easier and never have bunny ears I made a baby set was so cute
Pattern on chart is not same as hat? After your brim what pattern is that ?
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
I'm afraid this isn't fair isle work, it is stranded colour work knitting. We work both colours throwing from the right forefinger. Love from Shetland xxx
Thank you for your comment. I made this little video to work alongside a hat pattern I designed for one of my online knitting workshops last year. I just wanted to show some different ways of holding yarns (English & Continental) to try if approaching stranded colour-work for the 1st time.
Whats the difference?
Great video. All the techniques are very well explained and easy to understand. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your lovely, positive feedback :)

Great video and excellent PDF pattern. It was very easy to understand. I am pretty new to knitting and I never done Fair isle before. I finished the beanie its turn out great for a inexperienced person. Thank you
So pleased you enjoyed the pattern and your hat. Thank you!
Beautiful I made it . I only wish u had explained the crown how to decrease and be in a neat shape. Thank u.
Hi Asma, I'm so pleased you enjoyed knitting Isla! I made this series of mini tutorial videos to run alongside my pattern and online workshops. I added a mini video to show how to move from circular needles to double pointed needles for help when working on the crown. ua-cam.com/video/bFYdMUU_HyY/v-deo.html

How do you knit pattern repeats on a stranded colorwork chart that does not show a red box? I am working on a pattern that has a 6 stitch repeat with seven rounds but there is no redbox that shows the repeat .I don't understand what that means. Any help would be appreciated
You have a great way of explaining things! Thank you for this video!
Thank you :)
Excellent tutorial.
I was wondering about the jog...how do you deal with it?
bonjour j peut avoir la grille du tuto merçi
Beautiful. Which yarn did you use?
My Isla hat was knitted in Rowan Kid Classic Yarn, however any light Aran weight yarn would work well :)
