Cleanest GE ever
Hello, very nice video😊
Thanks
Gate down I repeat gate down 😢
0:06 - what an idiot! Don't you realize a train is coming?
Why is the thing fell down?
Probably struck by a truck
I liked the glow of the lead engine's headlights as it approached. Also the street lamp in the upper left looks like Van Gogh's Starry Night.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tttyyyuu❤
Rail cars without graffiti look better.
looks like the person in this vid hired a truck or train to run over the baby signal
What
love it when they honk back at us foamers
must had been really windy there
yeah, it was
Can confirm

Nice!
How about installing barriers? They don't cost more than a top CEO's hourly pay.
Installing new crossings can costs hundreds of thousands of dollars
@@BalloonBugle88 Nobody installs crossings on crossings, but barriers. And one set doesn't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, but tens of thousands.
@@MarcF.Nielssen yes HUNDREDS of thousands. It says the average highway railroad crossing costs 200-250k, a gate would still cost tens of thousands
@@BalloonBugle88 "It" says. And I mentioned gates / barriers, not building the entire crossing. Try to stick to the point.
@@MarcF.Nielssen it was MODOT which said that was the average price. 11,000 - 22,000 for a gate is still a lot and they would likely also after to redo other parts of the crossing. It’s also clear to see that this is a branch line or a line with very low traffic. Installing major crossing equipment is way too much for a line that sees only a couple trains per day or week, especially considering there are thousands of crossings like this
Nice!!
They need to add gates to that crossing
Why was the train moving so slow?
Because the conductor had to get out and put flares down
Did they report to get a Railroad Crossing Replacement
it has been replaced so yes
Nice man‼️
Congrats on 300 subs
Why are they putting smok bombs there?
To alert the drivers about the train
Nice man‼️
I wood like to take the signal home with crossbuck
First off that's illegal and second its pretty heavy

Was that a cantilever too, or just a regular flasher non gated that got toppled?
I watched it, what did I miss?
Some idiot hit the signals !😡😡
0:05 That is Illegal. Driver can be facing serious consequences.
yeah, they will never learn until they are involved in a accident themselves
Yes and the SUV driver parked 10 ft from the train, way over the white line, is an idiot as well. How hard is it to reverse 20 feet back that he clearly had. Even if he didn’t, stick it in reverse and the guy behind you would almost always back up too. Or do a U turn and get away. All better options than sitting right there.
The remaining unit was quite visible from both sides.
Что и зачем он положил на автодорогу?
Это сигнальные фальшфайеры, которые используются при отсутствии или неисправности светофоров для предупреждения водителей автотранспорта о приближающемся к переезду поезде
A car hit it and they didn't have time to replace it😊
Great catch judging by the sound of the horn I’m assuming the lead engine is a former Conrail locomotive
Yes, butiful manual rs3l
@@MP-16productions by far my favorite Leslie Horn of all time besides ConRail my other favorite railroad that utilize that horn is the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad most notably on the GE Dash 8 and Dash 9 red and silver war bonnet locomotives there’s not many original ones left in service but sadly almost all of them have lost their original RS-3L horns most of them have Nathan K3LA horn but there are a few of them that still have an original Leslie RS-3L
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan conrail had some of the best horns
What crossing is this?
Lambs road in pitman
I guess a semi took out the signal before the train came. Cool catch though.
thanks
I'm sorry I can't avoid find this flare thing ridiculous. The lights are blinking, the cars are stopped, the engineer walks in front of them, and the bell (another ridiculous outdated rule) is ringing. So why burn two flares that are going to stay there lit for nothing after the train has passed?
Due to other drives that's vision may be blocked by something
FRA Regs written in blood, that’s why…….
Thats FRA Regs for you.....
@@FreedomtowerStudios @jamessimms415 sorry I'm not a native speaker, don't know what "FRA Regs" mean. Would you kindly explain? I understand that this is mandatory by laws or regulations, that it has to do with safety. But it would be useful if flashing lights wouldn't work, road was empty, and train at cruis speed, with someone setting the flares well in advance, even maybe in the night. But lights are blinking, cars stopped, train also stopped right before crossing, bell ringing, and the engineer walking in front of both the car row and the train. It is impossible to see any situation clearer than this. Also the bell ringing is a rule that applies since the time first automobile cars started to move without horses and were seen as dangerous, although they were so slow (slower than horse pulled cars) and noisy. Maybe it's time some of these rules/regulations/laws were updated...

Nice man‼️
Even more rare is that GP40 on the point!
GP40-2
Why dont they fix that crossing its so dumb they dont fix it
That was 5 hours after it happened its been fixed for like 1 or 2 weeks
Not that easy. If its a simple knockdown, like this, then yea, they can usually have it back up the day it was knocked down unless they need parts then i'll be longer. But if the signal and base gets ripped out, that may take days to possibly weeks to replace.
@@FreedomtowerStudiosINER lost one near Hillsdale last summer. It took 2 weeks to replace it
OK Billy, you go run the Signal Maintainers Department for a while & see how much red tape you have to go through. Otherwise, you’re in no position to criticize why.
@@ericzerkle8486 Thats what im saying, if the signal is a total loss, then it can be weeks before a new one is put up, unless your a class 1 railroad that has parts stocked all the time and has the money/manpower to get a fresh signal up that same day.
Nice man‼️
Thanks
