I love this video!!! They love mealworms!
@@nanlindstrom8352 they sure do love them.
They've gotten so big already. Many eggs yet?
They lay pretty much daily. We’ve sold 2 dz eggs so far. 😊
love the thud Rosie made when she hopped down. I talk to our chickens the same way as you do and my dad thinks it's silly, but it's hard not to when they're so friend shaped!
The door to their hut inside the coop-auto sensor, or do you open it with a switch? Very cool. Extra protection for them when in their hut.
@@nanlindstrom8352 it’s automatic sensor at sunrise and closes at dusk. The girls file in just before dusk.
They are so pretty! Love watching your videos of them.
Happy chickens, happy mom😊
What herbs/spices did you put in the stock?
@@lawrencehilaire1763 I make my own Herb de Provence mix ( rosemary, lavender, thyme, savory, marjoram, fennel, and basil)! Each quart jar had 1/2 t of it.
Do u recommend or no ?
@@abcloft302 after having it during the 100°+ weather, no, it wasn’t strong enough
Wow❤
lol!!! Congrats!!! ❤
Congratulations ❤ this deserves more love
Great idea! Looks so much better.
@@nanlindstrom8352 yeah, it really cleans them up
They are so cute!! and talkative :)
Very nice, luck birds!😊
Congratulations on selling your RV!
Looks great. Nicely done
@@joyhouse2334 thanks so much
How soon can you expect any eggs?
They are 3 1/2 months old. They don’t start laying until about 6 months old
Nice job!
Thanks
Looks awesome.
Thanks ❣️

Thanks ❣️
I love these updates- they are happy chicks!
Thanks ❣️
Looking like quite the estate! 😍
Nice job!! I can hear those deer whining from here.
You got that right
Nice job!
Looks great Nancy. Your flowers are beautiful and garden is doing well!
Thanks ❣️
Very nice!!! 💕
Thanks Nan! ❣️
A little piece of Heaven u got going there! Nice.
i see you have gravel on the ground is it hard to clean?
We had gravel, but now have mini pine bark wood chips on the bottom, with pelletized pine bedding. It’s super nice for them. Very easy to clean.
@@4serenityridge we also have a coop its open and theres dirt at the bottom they make so much mess :/
@@Evren-ee3sjwe have found the mini wood chip along with the horse pine Peter’s bedding to be the trick.
Which one is that the exhaust fan? Please update with the solar install may try something like that for my chickens too
Solar panel fan kit by AntPay on Amazon.
They have gotten so big- I love the "flower" names!!n Too cute!
Ingenious.
Looking forward to joining you all there in the neighborhood. Yes indeed. Very peaceful down there. 👌👍
Nice to actually see the process and equipment involved.
Yumm!
Try mung beans? We used to sprout these.
I will have to try them next time
Impressive!
Hi congrats on your new property and all that you have accomplished. Looking to do something similar. Where are you located and are they still selling properties in your area. Love the friendships that you have made. Again congrats..
We live in Linden, TN. There are a few properties available.
Hello I just found this video, how long would I need to process the quarts when canning please.
For quarts 25 minutes as long as there’s no meat in the broth. For pints 20 minutes.
@@4serenityridge thanks I’m going to pull a turkey out of the freezer since I wasn’t home for Christmas I didn’t use it. Going to ask my brother in law if I can barrow there 18 quart roaster to make it.
Happy new year 2U2!
Beautiful!!!
What type of fan is being installed inside? Wondering how the electricity is getting into the shelter without compromising the integrity. Looks like a great idea.
At the top, there’s a vent pipe. Also the bottom of the door has vent holes. You can’t see them because there’s a steel plate over them. Events don’t usually last more than 20 minutes anyway. We have a plan in place in the event a tree falls in front of the door.
Your home looks very lovely and pretty. Looking forward to seeing it next year.
Nice paint job by Brian! You look like you have high ceilings too.
The turquoise blue makes me think you miss NM just a bit, haha.
10’ ceilings with the exception of the living room and kitchen which is 16’ at the highest point
Looks amazing!
They live longer than men because they stand back and have men do all the hard risky work.
No, its if your going to be dumb you better be tough
As in... absolutley most women are incapable of doing this job... or because women let men kill themselves for them?
Bc a woman like her wont do something dangerous so she makes the man do it
Been enjoying the progress of your cabin. We are building in Perry County also. We are close to a "Lady Finger Bluff" (ask a local they'll know). We need a dry wall hanger and finisher. Will you give me the name if your guy? Thanks - Joanne
