I'll probably make a proper guide, but am waiting because I'm suspecting nerfs to Lost Knowledge. TL;DR gear wise you want to cap your resistances and get Intellect/Mana/Cooldown/HP where you can, and 5% crit on both of your weapons.

Idol setup is not important and I'm running a mix of different stuff. Anything with %cold, %melee elemental or %mana/armor is good!

Lost knowledge (sorcerer's passive) gives you ward based on your max mana everytime you cast shatterstrike.

The build plan in the description is only meant to show skills and passives. A full guide will come later, granted they don't nerf Lost Knowledge.

well this looks to be online (the latency bar on the hotbar) so it was all farmed post 0.9

Seems like very easy obtainable gear. He has only yellow/purple stuff which is not even that crazy itself. No uniques at all. So its no problem to get that. I would assume you could get that while leveling.

Went Javlin because Sigils mana cost makes it unsustainable on bosses, and we don't struggle at all with trash/rares (which is the only situation where Sigil has uptime). Javelin is pretty much only an extra movement skill, and I personally welcomed it with open arms :D But it's our most interchangeable skill, and you can switch out Javlin for whichever other ability you feel like using. The base crit from Righteous Descend is whatever; it doesn't apply to Smites proced by our idols. We mainly take it for the Smite frequency.

He listed his filter as a link under the build planner. Click on the "show more" and you'll see it.

Pretty sure any vitiation works, so feel free to go nuts! This variation of Smite isn't the best (pretty sure VK Smite holds that spot), but I found it fun and it works :)

Maybe it was too high level? I just tried and was able to equip one. Weird; maybe it's a bug. The build still works as dual-wield (off-hand Katana in that case), so if you wanna go that route in the meantime you'll probably still steamroll most content.

@@OfficialKetsu Cheers. I'll take a look again. I'm stuck right now anyway on the quest to bring Zerrick the head of the Guild leader. Killed the leader twice now, and the game won't let me turn the quest in to him.

@@MrVvulf Complete the Ruby quest, this is a bug and is known by EHG but the current workaround is completing the Ruby side quest allows you to complete that main quest.

​@@OfficialKetsu I do actually and it's regarding some of the skill points. 1. Does divine fury do anything at all for the build? (Javelin) 2. Surprise Initiative doesn't seem to proc smite so why take it? (Javelin) 3. How important is attonement? (Smite)

@@ArkanePanda Divine Fury is just used for some extra damage and Smite procs, but those points can be put elsewhere if you'd rather save the mana. Purifying Lightning or Ardent Symbol are good candidates. Surprise Initiative does proc Smite, but I'm guessing you tried using it on the target dummy? :D Because it's not coded as an enemy, and won't proc the auto Smite(s). But the reason we take Surprise Initiative is mostly for the zoom zoom movement. Atonement isn't that important; it's our second to worst damage stat, but still nice to have on pieces without other good alternatives (like on gloves)
