Great video I’m doing a metallic with Mastercraft interiors Sarasota Florida
I am so sure that you will find good way to make it on WoodPrix.
same question
Look up Epoxy Resin Floor in the UK 👌🏻
What paint did you use to repair
A lot of chips
This guy cares about what he is doing you can tell
This guy knows his stuff
try some fast cure epoxy
I'm very cautious with e-commerce but didn't want to waste the money replacing my whole floor after we ended up with a few quarter-sized and a baseball-sized chips in our 3-car garage floor...and I couldn't find any vendors in my area that would do just a repair. The team was great, the instructions clear, and the kit set up to be incredibly easy-to-use. Super grateful to have found this online.
thank you! ❤
Why no primer first?
If you were to wet down the flooring prior to sanding, would that eliminate the dust? Or if there are any barriers to put around the buffers to contain dust?
Yes! You can get the floor wet to reduce dust however this will create a slurry which is muddy concrete or muddy epoxy which is heavy and difficult for the vacuum to suck up. They actually make slurry vacuums but they are thousands of dollars.
Where can I get the discs for that grinder machine?
They rent a "diamabrush" concrete prep tool at many home depots. or you can order one online
My wire no pad keeps flying off Help!
Lets see how did u fix?
This is a perfect example of why one day floors fail!
No mask or glasses needed lol
Great video man ! Have you ever used 40 grit sand screens to scuff up concrete to lay epoxy over ?
Great Question! I have never seen 40 grit but I've seen 32 and 16 grit. The 16 grit will work "if" the concrete is soft enough, but that is a big "if." Usually concrete is too hard for sandpaper to have any effect. So generally speaking sandpaper is not acceptable. However there's always the exception, and like I said if the concrete is soft enough and it works then hey, do it....but when I did try it on that soft slab it tore up the sandpaper really fast so I went through like eight pads at 15 bucks a pad each so it didn't save any money :(
acid etch or grind?
grind
please brother show us how hou mix the labsurface lo odour polyspartic 2 gal kit. you made a video last time but it wasn't the full things. your a honest dude and your videos helped me install floorings for my basement

Great video man… but what is your guy doing in the back? Look like he is frozen… kinda creepy 😂
lol... yeah all my friends joke about that! It was actually only supposed to be a 30 second video I told him to hold on and wait until I start grinding but I just kept thinking of things to talk about and it turned out to be a good video. lol
Aaannddd it gets worse 😂
😂 tell me this is a youtube joke of a channel ! No fkn way is your clown self doing this
Can you install an epoxy floor over bondo?
Great information! Do you guys charge a deposit before installing a floor like that?
yes we do. unfortunately when i started in 2003 my first year i lost hundreds of dollars showing up on a Saturday morning with two guys to have people constantly cancel last minute. I had promised the guys work and since they had canceled their other job I was obligated to give them money. Plus I lost out on other customers who would have booked that day. after I went to the deposit people didn't cancel anymore, I've made a few mistakes and let people convince me that they're not going to cancel but it's always those people that are most difficult to get paid on. The amounts of business that I lose because of requiring a deposit is very small compared to the amount of money I lost because of people who canceled.
What did you use for the crack filler?
bondo all purpose
Lololololol
Tanks Great Tips!!! Brother on the Prep steps / Why not As first step High Pressure Wash the Concrete with good Industrial Degreaser making sure No grease prior to Grinding? Isn't Pre Cleaning the Floor 1st Prep Step after Floor Inspection? Checking and Leaning From all the Killer Videos from Different Companies & Independent Installers Saludos & Thanks!!!
Great Question. If you degreased and power washed then you would still need to acid wash and power wash afterwards. degreasing removes grease but it does not create a concrete profile. a concrete profile is roughness. If you pour acid on concrete and then power wash it it will make the concrete rough. So yes you could decrease and then acid wash but you would have to wait for the floor to dry and that takes time and money. The cost of the acid and the time associated with degreasing and power washing cost more than the price of diamond grinding.
Broooo what a cliffhanger I wanted to see you mix A and B! 😂 well played 👏
My bad
Good commenter
Awesome real life display of how its done! Thank you!
How did you prep the floor, before pouring?
Concrete Grinder. You can use a 7" angle grinder with a diamond cup wheel if you're just getting started.
Nice!
I'll try bondo for my next install, ,great tip, thanks!
Awesome man, love this format realtime installation videos, no cuts, just real work! This is how garage floora are done!
Thank you
What color flake is this?
What kind of urithane is that I’m looking at the moisture cure rexthane not sure if I should use this or another
this is Polyaspartic. i think i used gp4850 in this video and put it down at 160 ft² per gallon or 10 mils thick. rexthane is a good product but can only be applied at 2 Mils thick. If you put Rexthane down too thick it will crack.
What brush attachment do you have on the floor machine?
either the diamabrush mastic removal wheel or a custom wheel i made that i bolt 16 grit extra soft single stars onto
Great tip man, never thought of it like that but it makes so much sense. Thank you.
If the concrete hasn’t been poured yet, would brushing take the place of etching or blasting? Or best to do smooth and then blast a couple months later?
Late reply... but I would prep every floor, and not count on any kind of finish be sufficient as so. Concrete must also sit for a minimum of 28 days for the moisture to cure out of the concrete completely. Otherwise the water would work it's way upward and pop your coatings off
You actually want a smooth hard troweled surface. Broomstick finished concrete is very weak, because the ridges crumble since the rocks were pushed deep and down by the bristles of the broom. So if you have broomstick finished concrete then you need to grind it flush. You want someone to pour the slab as normal (smooth hard trowel). Then do your diamond grinding.
A little heavy on the flake.
That better NOT be spakle.....😮
Solo relleno.....con los años...se abre otra vez....no POS wow
Nice what are you using?
Thank you for sharing brother, this information is not easy to find!
Not sure if you will see this, Don! Does the flooring work well with gym equipment??
Yes you can put these coatings under gym equipment but if you drop weights you want those thick pads or youll crack the concrete and therefore the coating
