Sometimes sellers will buy too much of something or for some reason it’s not selling as well as they thought they would. It’s a business, so they need to constantly buy the new fragrances that are coming out to the market. But what do they do with all the stuff they either bought too much of and or can’t sell? They sell them to the discounters for very cheap. Since discounters get these fragrances for very cheap, they are able to sell them for a discounted price. 🤙🏻

Is the new batch design on the bottle different than the older ones? Bcuz I saw a video where a guy was comparing a fake and a real one and supposedly the fake one fonts are more popped out, verses the old or real ones kinda fade?.

Discounters are my go to, I only buy from retail if they go on sale and have lower price than discounters which sometimes does happen.

Think discounters sell mb defective batches of the fragrance something they're not 100% happy with the "JUICE", mb a mistake here or there on the formulation but they still bottle and send to discounters to make some from that defective batch i think

It most likely is legit, but as you mention it could had been used and returned, which makes the main issue, how much juice was in it. Being that it looks like you can't see through the bottle, if you didn't use any from PDM bottle, you should have weighed them using grams, and if they only a few grams difference, it should be just about full. If there's a 10% or more less weight, than obviously you got 10% or more less juice.

Maxaroma is a fake, bottom is different from the authentic one. They are making these kind of fakes in turkey and Eastern Europe. If maxaroma Carlisle was sealed that should not be the case that it was used or sprayed before.

Initial spray is amazing, dry down is a little 2 sweet and musky for me but I had already ordered it before getting to the dry down, still contemplating cancelling the order as it cost me 125 AUD

4 years ago, I tested old batch layton, love the longevity last few days and the projection filling my room with 3 sprays price is very expensive so is only on my wishing list. Recently check new batch layton price sky rocket ridiculous high 😵‍💫 but the longevity, projection and quality like water down pretty bad. If anyone had both new and old batch, correct me if I'm wrong

just buy Detour Noir, fill it up into a better flacon and live a good life with alot of compliments

Hello everyone! I have a question whose answer I havent been able to find. Many reviews from famous youtubers show PDM layton (Original) and the 78% batch says 2015 at the botton of the box. If it was realeased in 2016 why does it says 2015? Can anyone help me out with that?

One problem is that you're comparing boxes and bottles that were manufactured several years apart. The houses change the design. What you need to do is compare the atomizer nozzle and inner assembly with the spray cap off to a bottle with a similar batch date purchased from an authorized seller. Doesn't Maxaroma charge list price for Parfums de Marly?

Maxaroma label is different and clearly looks fake. I don’t understand why can’t you see it. Even the spray projection of maxaroma was not up to the mark. These days Turkish and east European replicas are almost identical. Some people here boost that they buy from discounter and ITS REAL, where did these discounter buy from ? Apart from one major online perfume store no one else imports perfumes ? These discounter buys from local suppliers who sells all kind of stuff

Just to shed some light on this, Maxaroma is 100% legit. They are also officials distributors for PDM. I actually went to PDM to ask and they said they actually are official. This is from the company. The just control their prices

LMFAO, UA-cam is even censoring the name of discounter companies now, they won't let you post their names in replies. Most of them are legit, and the ones that aren't certified by the house aren't under contract dictating prices, so you'll get a better price.

Yeah...I don't think so. What's crazy is that no one ever, said Layton is a tobacco scent. Not once. Sorry. All PDM fragrances do NOT have a tobacco DNA scent...especially Layton. The official notes of Layton list no tobacco notes. You may have to go see a Otolaryngologist for help if you think Layton, Greenley, Percival, Pegasus, Galloway, Sedley, Haltane, or Kalan, just to name a few, have any tobacco scent at all. In fact, only a select few have any tobacco scent. Moreover, if your confused enough to be smelling tobacco in Layton, I'm not sure you should be talking about detecting synthetics.

You need to play with th amount of sprays to figure out what works for each fragrance. From the Caribbean so my range is 4-6 sprays

I find Parfums de marly quality control is pretty poor and on the decline. Some of the paint can bubble or flake and they are cutting costs with new bottle like Oajan going from gold caps to now basic silver. Not to mention the fragrance % is now less , quality on brands such as Xerjoff is alot higher imo .

It disappears in minutes. Why is it so hyped? A perfume that has no longevity or projection is utterly useless.

Aoud lemon lime?? There is no such fragrance from mancera. You mean Aoud lemon mint. Not sure how you smell "Sprite" in the opening of that one. The opening is all almond.

I like the content.. just a feedback.. it's a small investment, just buy a pack of testing strips. Smelling scents on office paper throws you off a bit. You can tell the difference. Other than that bro.. thanks for the video.

It's not fake but it is old and sometimes i feel the bottle wasn't kept in a cool dark place ... i have gotten bottles that smell similar, but something was off

when i tried layton at the parfumery it was a veeery strong apple vanilla scent ans looved it.. it lasted nearly 30 hours on my wrist with exceptional projection ... then i bought the 125ml bottle (82% new reformulation) and it is soooo weak.. zerooo projection but its a skin scent for about 20 hours.. i asked collegues ans they couldnt smell it at all, just when sniffing directly on my neck.. i brought back the Layton to the shop as i thought its broken .. got another one but ITS THE SAME ... weak AF.. the tester was hella strong... but the bottle you buy is just non detectable and i dont feel the apple at all..

I purchased a fragrance a few years ago that is now discontinued. I remember it well as I went through a whole bottle. I recently purchased the same fragrance on a discount website and once I received it I checked the batch code. It was almost 4 years old. It didn't smell the same, similar but not the same. More like pencil shavings. Very disappointed as I can't wear it. It's a crap shoot when you buy from these sites.
