you talk about how we aren't important people, we aren't presidents or superstars of big television shows, well I know someone personally whose bigger than em all, and next to him those superstars look might small. And I talk with him each day, and hes interested in every word I say, no secretary ever tells me he's been called away, I talk to Jesus everyday. Well now I don't think that I'll ever be in any Hall of Fame And the social register of wealthy folks wont drop my name but my name is written in the book of life I'm proud to say and that's all that really matters anyway.

interesting video, well made with superb editing. you definitely did your research, but not very consistently. i dont really find a clear line of reasoning behind how promoting self love (on pinterest for women) leads directly to delusion. you say that these posts target women who are already insecure about their looks, relationships, etc, and then get trapped in a cycle of delusion. but what about in the middle? what exactly causes positive affirmations or simply posts that promote self positivity to turn into delusion? i think one thing you ignored here was the science behind affirmations and manifestation/law of attraction and how that is just as genuine of a self-improvement tactic as meditation or old age spirituality. yes, meditation and self-reflection will surely get you farther in life than repeating 'i am worthy' in front of the mirror, but no one is equating this movement of pinterest posts to life-changing spirituality either. in my personal view, the 'self-love' pinterest/social media movement is a response to a society that genuinely degrades women and consistently profits off of them feeling insecure and unworthy. while this movement isn't perfect, no social media movement ever is, i don't think it is evil. are there good parts? yes. are there bad parts? definitely. but evil is a bit of a stretch. i think these posts help women to feel more confident in themselves. it's a way to promote a self-love mindset that propels women onto a path of improvement-in career and in spirituality, rather than delusion. i don't think it makes women feel self-centered; it's possible to focus on yourself and take care of yourself as well as others around you (something i dont think women have been allowed to do for millenia due to childcare/household responsibilites and the genuine burden of being a woman in a patriarchal society). this is also where i believe your research is lacking the most-are women genuinely more self centered today than before this movement? is there a direct correlation between the self love pinterest movement? especially when you discuss the psychology of women and men, especially as you are promoting this view as scientific fact i think there needs to be sources to back your claim. not attacking you as a person. as i said i think this video is interesting and brings up great points. just a constructive criticism and some qualms i have with what you said

Self love might be very essential in some places like you know, trynna really love yourself but the point is it shouldn't be a shortcut at the end

I am not directly kinda attacking Andrew Tate for sure. I think he is an amazing masculine figure for young man and that's for a fact. Someone sharing the notion of hardwork isn't bad. Controversies are, and hence I am not very inclined towards supporting but argue him to be a good figure overall. It's so weird, rn I was just looking randomly towards a debate he had with a psychologist, and he came to the point of that 0.1% who really don't want anything - more liberating and freeing than literally anything. Perhaps a potential Matrix escape (freedom)? Anyways, that's so weird how we all beleive at this certain same things yet to different degrees. Me believing (as of now), everything is a matrix. Really everything. And the only escape is to not have the escape mindset. Also, to all the future viewers: this is highly important to differentiate the difference between postive visualisation and impersonation. I do not wanna say the nonsense of attraction thing, but yeah visualising you *doing the work* is the way to do, and that doesn't make you an impersonator. Again, sadly most people just visualise them being the richest, best, fit etc, that's as far as good for motivation but that just doesn't work. That's the in detail of even visualisation. Do active postive visualisations rather after reward visualisations. Again also, just don't be a sigma impersonator. Shut up with these trends, I know I sometimes take a good long laugh at these memes...haha..uff relatable to my younger me. And that's it. Sometimes. Sometimes.
