it's a really good idea. It fixes the issue with cracks in the corners of a deck (My previous scooter and starting to see a bit on my new) just replace the extensions instead of the entire deck

i love the hybrid skateboard esque feel it has ! i have mild cerebral palsy so balance and coordination is effected, this gives the ability to skate because it feels so much like a skateboard, plus its great for cruising as well as yes, some ticks depending on rider style, height, foot size and or foot placement etc.

i am getting the 7 x 23.5 i tried one as demo and it was amazing to me, i can see how its too big for some people but depending on the rider, style and what all he plans on doing a 7 is a great option, there is definitely a market for it im glad they came out with these because even though im a small framed guy,i like being able to get both feet on the scooter and feel stable when i am cruising, and these little 4 and some change wide just dont cut it,.

i love the 7 inch deck, it is super comfortable to ride and it doubles very well as a commuter scooter.
