Great video Dr Mancuso! I am currently in the middle of treatment with a LL7 and I am struggling to get all the way down the mesial canal to the apex. How do you tend to achieve patency?
Thank you for your kind words! The canal may have a slight internal bend or narrowing that could either be blocked by debris created during instrumentation or ledged. To unblock or recapture the canal lumen, you should: 1. Use plenty of irrigation. Start with EDTA as a chelating agent until the canal is unblocked, then switch to sodium hypochlorite. 2. Pre-bend a size 6 C-pilot hand file (VDW) or a K-File/Flexofile. 3. Advance the file slowly into the canal, carefully following its anatomy and possible curvature. Pay attention on file distortion and dispose that to avoid a file separation. Good luck and please let me know how you are getting on.
Foi muito especial essa entrevista. Obrigado Dra. Dani Mancuso pelo carinho. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

What Are The Treatment Options For Condensing Osteitis? Thank you!
Condensing osteitis is usually a reaction to chronic inflammation from a tooth with pulp issues, like decay or trauma. Treatment depends on the tooth’s condition: RCT, If the tooth has irreversible pulp damage or infection; Monitor only, If the tooth is asymptomatic and the cause has been resolved. The bone changes often heal or stabilize after treating the source of the problem.
Nice informative.
Glad you liked it! 😊
Parabéns, Dani, pela construção de sua trajetória! Pelo sucesso profissional e pela linda família! Abraços!
Muito obrigada Vania!!!! Voce tambem teve um papel muito importante em minha vida e minha inspiração na periodontia!!!! Super beijo 😘
Really hope one day I achieve all of these things , an inspiration
Thank you so much!!!! 😘
Hi Doc, dental student here. This video was really helpful and keen to learn about this. What could have caused this resorption?
Thank you so much for your comment and glad to see you here. External cervical resorptions are normally associated to trauma, orthodontic treatment, periodontal problems or even to occlusion. In this case it was possibly due to the orthodontic treatment.
I normally use a Coarse (green) Diamond Bur - Taper Round End to drill through both Zirconia and the porcelain of the PFM crown. And then use the Carbide Burs PR-2 to go through the metal part of the PFM crown. Please remember to use lots of water when drilling through those crowns
very informative video, what file you use to negotiate curve canals? Thank you
Thank you! I normally use Senseus FlexoFile, XP Endo Rise (FKG) or TruNatomy (Dentsply Sirona). It is important to use the Glider file before the Shaping file to prepare the curved canal with full control . Good luck!😉
Great Thank you doctor
You are very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Which bioceramic sealer do you use?
I use TotalFill BC Sealer HiFlow from FKG. 👍
Thanks for sharing such beneficial information Dr.Dani 👍🏻
You are very welcome. Glad you liked it! 😊
What burs would be ideal to access through zirconia/pfm crowns?
I normally use a Coarse (green) Diamond Bur - Taper Round End to drill through both Zirconia and the porcelain of the PFM crown. And then use the Carbide Burs PR-2 to go through the metal part of the PFM crown. Please remember to use lots of water when drilling through those crowns 😉

Beautiful case! Thank you for sharing
Thank you!!!
Glad I watched, I would have bet on a crack based on the initial radiograph.
Happy to hear that! I used to think the same way before the CBCT. It totally changes the way we think and approach the cases. 😊
Nice presentation. Looking forward to what’s in store for upcoming videos.
Thank you so much! there is definitely more to come. I look forward to hearing your comments to the next ones.

Wonderful to see you sharing your interesting cases and knowledge here👏👏
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you.
Great case, Dani! And comes to show how we prefer, in most cases, to investigate, so a good tooth is not sent for extraction without a chance!
