Reversed grid and Watton steamed to the front taking the win, his 10th of the season, with Clowes in second place, his 14th podium of the season. Morgan was in 3rd place for his first podium of the season. Bailey scored his season best of a 5th place. Newcomer Lycett took 4th. Also on the grid was Walker, Ward, Wheals, Hill, Iyengar, Butcher and Mitchell.

A return to Croft Circuit after 8 years and it was a rather wet race that Dan Clowes won ahead of Mike Watton with 16 year old debut driver Reece Lycett taking the 3rd podium in a bit of a shock result! Also featured Mitchell, Walker, Ward, Bailey, Morgan, Levy, Wheals, Hill, Iyengar & Butcher.

The 2017 UK F1000 Championship went down to the wire and Michael Watton won it at the final meeting at Oulton Park in October. Big Congratulations to him! Such a cool series, wanna do test days. There is just no left to right head protection which just looks so dangerous. That's the only concern because they are so fast
The commentator would do well to learn how to breath without sucking it through his teeth.
