I grew up with the 1980's Raiders because they were Just playing football in 2 different cities between Oakland and Los Angeles and the last time the played in Oakland was in 1981 and they moved to Los Angeles in 1982 and they played in Los Angeles until the in the 1990's and the moved back to Oakland in 1994 or 1995 many years later the team moved to Las Vegas 2020

Wow! Thank you for capturing what it was like to watch the Raiders from the late sixties to late eighties. In the Bay Area we lived and died with that team. Blue collar bad asses. They lost something when they went to LA and never got it back. We will see about Vegas. But when they play The Autumn Wind is a Raider, rolling in from sea, I think of the Bay, not the desert. P.S. At one point they were the most winningest team in professional sports.

It's amazing how many people loved the way these psychopaths played. Yes, football is a tough, sometimes brutal game but these guys took it a little too far. They seemed like they were really out to cripple and maim, not just tackle opposing players.

Oh how I wish my Raiders could play like this again.

I remember when other teams wanted to play Oakland so that if they won they could say they beat the best. Now teams want to play the Raiders because they think it is the easy game on their schedule.

As a long time Raiders fan I know they will never return to this brand of football. When they were feared and respected. Gave 100% on both sides of the ball. Won consistently. Were colorful and entertaining. Now I just want them to field a competitive team. Tired of the losing and lack of Raiders pride.
