Looks like a fun place. I used to see their commercials on Nickelodeon
I can’t listen to this song without feeling a little thrill 😊
@@moonbeam7702 Me too!
I still remember the words. Such a great song. Never saw what he looked liked but it didn't matter. Great music is great music.
So true!
Ewig schade daß ich LEN BARRY nicht kennenlernen durfte! 😒
cool sox hippie bro
I always thought 123 was song by the 4 Tops , all this time I never new , Ur voice is so like the lead singer in the 4 Tops , u where so handsome I love that song !!!! 🇨🇮☘️💕🇨🇮☘️💕
What a great interview. My older sister had the records of singers and groups of the day. Unfortunately, these folks are leaving us pretty fast.
They are indeed leaving us too quick! I was very lucky to interview Len for this.
Well done documentary! Interesting to hear how when they recorded 1, 2, 3, on replay it sounded better than when they were performing it in studio, according to Barry.
Thank you! Len had many more stories, but I had to keep it to a short film.
Its definitely opposite these days
The future of cable television is there is no cable television 😂
anpanman!
4yrs's a long time when one's young. '61, 'The Bristol Stomp' was ear-candy, kids making music for kids. (Don't get me wrong, I still love it.) '65, '1,2,3' would've probably been a bit too adult for the 10yr olds of 1961, but was perfection at 14. Now, soon to be 60yrs later, realizing no one'll ever take Len Barry's place makes it even better
Thank you! It was a pleasure to make this film with Len.
No one's better than Len Barry. The Dovells were fools.
This doc is much appreciated. I’m a fan of blue-eyed soul. The son of immigrants. I love this country🇺🇸
Excellent - and so insightful......THANKS!!!!!
Thank you for watching!
In 1965 I was 8 and this kid in Elementary school would dance and sing " Say It Loud I'm Black And I'm Proud " on top the desk. Then sang 123 very well. Len Barry is cool! ❤
Hilarious
Hilario DUDE😆🤣🤣😆🫶❤️👍✌️💙. Hit👍👍👍👍👍people
Great singer ..... 123 still sounds great almost 60 years later.
I love 123❤
Me too! Thanks for watching.
The AMP pocket is telling you..." I am a damn good cable technician "
I thought he was in that group.
Thanks for watching the film.
Why there are so few likes?
we have private cable network on 1989 on de "GDR" (ex-Sovietzone from germany) on a private network in my hometown ...i`m as a young guy in 1988 have TV channels like, SkyOne,MCM,RTL4,tele5,teleclub,superchannel,RTL..the speeech of the world in tv .. in the "sovietzone" ! this was the real reason, to fall the "german border" in `89 🙂...thanks for upload...your KrautROckt!er from Chemnitz/germany
Hilarious you rock 🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤❤❤
Now we can watch 1 billion channels on youtube.
he does look out of place in greenwood village! but is hilarious
He would be out of place in GV! However we filmed this back in 2010 at Wits End Comedy Club in Westminster. Long since closed. He is still the most hilarious out there. Thanks for commenting!
Funniest guy around 😂
Indeed he is! Thank you!
This guy is hilarious. His full set with the blue shirt is awesome!
😅🤣😂💚
I was 5 years old when we got cable in 1955. It was 5 channels and the cable plant was RG-11/U coax. Later on, I was friends with Warren Fribley, the guy who owned the cable system. He told lots of stories. I also knew Harold Hammel who came up with the amplifier tilt control, which compensated for coax losses on the higher channels by raising the amplifier gain as the frequency went up.
Awesome! Love this album, ty for sharing this.
I miss time warner cable so much spectrum is very different I remember the box from time warner had buttons on it to change the channels u loved that spectrums don't have it
If the officers are exempt from the laws and rules of the road, are you saying that the officer that pulled him over does not know the law? He was off duty.
ironically, watching the sketches high was a challenge
did the blunt challenge you?
I stopped going to church lol.
Lol talking about the internet as under-rated.😂
Wasn’t he in Beetlejuice?
*Cable tv came here to Australia in 95/96.. does the US have free to air tv? or do you all have to pay for cable?*
We have free over-the-air TV. Just gotta buy an antenna and that's like 20-40 USD.
*Would be great for an updated version*
ROTFLMNO😂🤣😂🤣😂
I liked the first video in bolder, every bit was funny as hell, but the other ones are lots of repeat jokes that don't work a second time around. New material for each show keeps it fresh and interesting. I only watched a minute of this and not watching more because its not funny to hear rehashed jokes. Hope you take this to heart, look forward to hearing new material from you.
Hi Jerry. Thanks for the suggestions. Just to let you know, we made this video back in 2010.
@@ColoradoMediaProductions my apologies, I never thought of that...my fault. I thought the material was a riot . Please accept my apologies...I should not have said anything.... I died laughing for sure.
I got cable in 1980 and we pay 5 Buck month 10 year old
Yeah cable TV is nothing but a glorified satellite system on steroids look at the distribution Places You'll see all those satellite dishes well guess what that's what they're receiving and then they're just simply retransmitting it to your home
Little kiddies now don't know payphones and the closest things we had in the 70s to social media-CB radio.
My brother loved CB's!
Ham radio goes decades back from cb
@@yz250ftony Ham radio=original social media.
Those days are gone...
TV was FREE when I was a kid.
Same here. We had every cable channel free on a cband dish. Then then encrypted them like 15 years later.
Smooth move 🔥❤❤🔥❤🔥❤
@27:14 Good call 1998.
I was gonna make a snide remark about how these folks had no idea how their industry was going to be turned upside down.... but as you point out, this one dude over here is a bloody genius.
No kidding. Poor guy was probably a lone voice fighting against people who struggled to look ahead. Like the lady talking about phone company’s marketing being “overkill”. Anyone in communications has to keep looking forward. We’re always on the way towards obsolescence unless we’re looking ahead and ready to change lanes.
Lew really knew what he was talking about!
:O woah this was made in 2015
Ikr???🫣😳
Do you own the one in eastgate
