You can watch how the 4-way works on the 4413. I have to say love this splitter but I’d rather use the single wedge fore 4-way.

First day with the split-fire 4413. The 4413 is the 4 thousand series 4 way wedge and 13 is high flow. I’ll have better videos in days to come this was just the first of use and wasn’t planning on making any videos because I didn’t have any big rounds at the house.

HLA 1500 Snowpusher 2nd Time Using @GoodWorksTractors
My local dealer said they have so many calls about the catalyst plugging up with ash that they have been recommending to just remove them and run them without
I could see that. Mine plugs up pretty quickly and my wood is all under 20%
Good evening... is that 4413 a 30 Or 36 inch deck?.. thank you for your response
The stroke of it is 24”. The table height I can’t remember I do know it has an 8” lift which that was an add on option. If you asking how wide the table/log lift is I would have to measure that and get back to you.
thanks
Did I answer your question correctly?
The bed on it seems like it was longer than another video where the young owner is running a unit and said it was 24.0 I thought that one might be a 30 or 36 the way you're able to put those big rounds on each end as the blade went back and forth. But it's no big deal.. that's a nice splitter .. those headphones are a good idea also.. all three of y'all working together on keeping that thing fed and emptied is pretty impressive
We love this splitter. We have used other and still like everything about the split fires
Sweet set up you got there! Awesome team work. Both splitter and conveyor make the job go so much easier! Stay safe👍TCT
How do you like that Timberwolf conveyor with the belt versus having a chain drive conveyor? That sure is a sweet looking set up you have 😊
I wouldn’t do any other way. Love the belt
very nice splitter, one question, how much did it cost...? I bought an electric Yardman splitter at Lowe's for 385.xx but it's not as nice as yours....
I really can’t remember but I want to say right around 3k.
@@willowcreekwoods I'm a single man just heating my house so me spending 385.xx at Lowe's was my best option....But i agree, your splitter is a LOT better.....
How many of you does it take to change a lightbulb out there?
I don’t get it.
Looks like a strong light weight grapple that won't take away from loader lift capacity on smaller tractors. Stinger also makes heavy duty grapples for larger tractors and more demanding jobs.
Yea it has been awesome using it. Works well with the Kioti.
love my splitfire
I’m sure glad split fire is what I bought. Even their customer service is awesome!!
Nice video, my dream splitter
I can for sure say it’s one hell of a splitter.
Great you tube channel I really like to support the smaller channels like mine. Keep up the good work. New subscriber today
Your channel looks interesting. I’ll definitely be checking it out on my days off.
@@willowcreekwoods keep in touch hopefully we can grow both channel equally We cut a lot of pallet logs that could forsure go firewood lol
Thanks for sharing both HLA 1500 videos. I’m looking at a new 1025R package, and am leaning HLA 1500 54” backdrag (w/rubber and UHMW/poly) for our combination concrete and asphalt driveway. It’s about 350’ long, with a 2.0 to 5.5° slope down to the street and berms. Any suggestions or lessons learned from your experience? I’ve only used front- and rear-mounted snowblowers, but am intrigued by the “less moving parts”, speed, efficiency, and reduced blowing snow as compared to a JD 54” QuikTatch snowblower. Thanks in advance!
We love it so far. I do sometimes wish I went with UHMW all around. I thought while back dragging it would be quieter but still makes a back drag noise and does leave black marks sometimes but I still like it over the snowblower. Way easier to clean also after using it vs snowblower. We like to heat the garage and it’s always a pain to try and get all the snow that is packed in the snowblower. With this it’s simple.
Great team work, you are right the Wood Dock is an awesome piece of equipment for sure. I am working with a company right now to start producing them again. One question, what brand of ear muffs/mic do you have and do you like them. 👍TCT
Love them ear muffs. They are the stihl advanced pro com. They work great. It’s a mesh intercom so all you do is turn them on and they all connect together with no programming. I need to make a video on them I have had a lot of people ask about them. Just trying to figure out how I want to do it. Seems like it would be simple to just put my dji mic where the pro com mic is but then you can’t really hear on video of the sound quality in the headset. They work great but they are not cheap that’s for sure.
@@willowcreekwoods Thanks for the info, much appreciated 👍TCT
👍👍👍👍
Wow, that is quite the splitter. You could also remove a few fingers if you were asleep @ the wheel.😳😳 Great video. TY for sharing. Dave from Maine.🇺🇸👍
Yea you could. 6.5 to 7 seconds full cycle time so really about 3 seconds each way……you don’t want to be sleep at the wheel that for sure. lol!!
I like how it cuts wood forward and backwards first time i have seen that
Yea I have used several splitters and really like this one. Plus it’s pretty safe also.
3 people for this work?
@@kembanggula4772 well it’s 2 retired people and me they do it for just something do to vs sit in a chair and do nothing. That’s kinda like me wasting my time to tell you that your wasting your time by being an ass.
@@willowcreekwoodsoh yeah... youtube star 🤣🤣🤣
@kembanggula4772 No one said I was but you I guess.
@kembanggula4772 I just don’t get that fact that you would waste your time saying that someone is wasting their time. Makes no sense but what ever floats your boat.
How about a video detailing your headgear/comms?
I could do that. I’ve noticed there are not really many videos on those.
Y'all work really good together!
It looks like u need to take u file out n give it a bit of a sharp edge!
Yea I guess I don’t know I thought it cut just fine for me but that’s the first time I ever used an 880.
❤❤❤❤
I’m sure you compared this to other options available before choosing this split fire machine. How do you feel about this versus the vertical type splitters ? Personally, On the vertical splitters I’m concerned about kickouts and losing thumbs. But you have a group working on this, and I’m working solo myself. Glad I found your channel.
I’ve always thought about a vertical splitter. There are 3 good choices that I would think about buying but like the way this split fire operates. When you have big rounds on this 4413 your still rolling the round but on a vertical now the round is on the side which to me is harder to move a 36” or more round laying flat then it is to roll a round. I would love to try a vertical out some day and maybe then I would change my opinion but until then I guess I’ll stick with a horizontal.
How wide is the snow pusher on this unit thanks
54”. We love it. I’d rather have more than enough power to push then have a pusher too big you can’t push.
I replaced those split pins with nails. It makes removing those secondary air pipes much easier.
My splitter didn't come with the jungle jive sound track
Somebody wake me up
I’m the same way I’m 61 and should like smaller rounds but I don’t, I prefer the big rounds, once there on the machine your working for a while and when your done, a lot of wood , 👍🚜🪵🔥🚀🏰🍺
And for the 4413 it handles anything I give it. Love it.
Good video. I do like the split fire design, way better than the box store splitter.
And it just seems simpler. Love everything about the 4413.
Hello new sub from East Tennessee thanks for the video, glad I found ya
Great splitter. Love the teamwork, everyone knew what to do and when. The headsets are a fantastic idea.
Yea the headsets are nice. stihl advanced pro com’s makes work little bit more enjoyable and everyone can talk to each other without screaming.
That sure is a nice splitter. I am not sure how much usage I would give the 4-way wedge but it sure is nice to have.
I like the 4-way when I’m splitting for my buddy that uses boiler wood. When using the duel wedge I get less trash. But I do love this splitter.
@@willowcreekwoods I see you tow your splitter behind your pickup truck. Did you get the "rubber heavy duty suspension"? Curious as I will need to tow mine also. I don't know what MPH it's rated for. I guess I need to call Splitfire to make sure I get the proper setup. Also, do you normally run your splitter at half throttle? I'm trying to decide on the high flow kit but if I get the high flow kit and only run at 1/2 throttle it's probably equal to the normal stock set up speed??? Keep the videos coming, I enjoy them as well as seeing the teamwork.
@glengarritysr9997 We do not have the heavy duty suspension after talking to Dillon and telling him what we do he said we would be fine without it. I can’t remember what tow rate for mph. For running splitter at half throttle most of the time we do… it’s literally scary fast at full throttle lol. But with high flow option you get a bigger tank and we thought it would toe better. We were going to order a 3k series with the heavy duty suspension,8” lift, log lift but after talking to them the owner Marco had a 4413 he personally used and we ended up buying that from him so we went with the big one and I can’t say enough about it… absolutely love it and there customer service is the best. Give Dillon a call at (519) 468-3647. Tell them you talked to Jason from Willowcreekwoods. @SplitFireSalesInc
@@willowcreekwoods That is awesome customer service. I'll give them a call early next week. I like the taller knife on the 4000 series splitters. Thanks for the reply.
Yes that’s definitely a plus.
Thanks for your purchase! Glad to see you are putting it to good use, making your life easier and job more enjoyable! Thanks for highlighting our product!
Love it. Can’t wait to get back out and use it more.
Do you still use your 2265 at all? Still trying to decide which model to purchase. I don't really need one until fall so I figure I'll order in July for the 6-8 week lead time.
I do not. I actually sold the 2265 when I got my 4413. But loved the 2265. It was an awesome splitter
Would you mind sharing why you went with this unit over the 3455?
The 3455 would have done me just fine. Now that we do have the 4413 we actually are glad we went this route because we like splitting bigger stuff not that the 3455 couldn’t have done it but we also ended up buying Marco’s splitter he used at his house. So we saved some money with it being used. In my opinion you gain a lot more splitter for the upgraded cost….yes it is more money but you gain a ton. Most of the rounds I split are 30” or more and I don’t have to put the round on splitter a certain way because it just goes right through it no matter what’s on the table.
I ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Do you mind sharing about how long the lead time for yours was?
If I remember right they said 4 to 6 weeks but was probably more like 3 weeks. I would think you be getting your’s soon.
LOUD STUPIC MUSIC KILLED THIS VIDEO.
Haha yes so I’ve been told. Some people don’t want to hear the splitter some do. But yes next time no music.
@@willowcreekwoods when i'm outside working i carry my bluetooth speaker w/ me & listen to music..... but when i split wood or chainsaw, i turn it off....can't hear it...
❤❤❤❤👍👍👍💕💕💕
Love the 2265...I could watch it working all day !! Just one observation..You can increase your productivity....when you run through on the first split of a new log/round...instead of pushing the top half away from you onto the table and fetching it back for further splitting later...If you keep the two halves together (even though they are split through) clasp them together after the first split, then turn to whole log through 90 degrees...when you come back on the second pass of the knife it will create 4 small logs for you from the two...just something i've picked up over the years..Love the video...thanks for uploading...looks like you and the Mrs make a good team !!
We now have a 4413 which is twice as fast. Most of the time we do turn 90 and just do 2 splits but sometimes we must feel lazy haha
two observations...I would use the log lifter to lift those large rounds up...secondly you can increase productivity by splitting the round then placing the splits halves back together and turning them through 90 degrees and running them through again..that way it takes only 2 passes to get 4 logs out..rather than placing the split segment to the side then doing it individually...the knife is tall but you are only using part of its height on your second cuts..
lol. We usually do turn 90 but I guess it depends on the day. For the large rounds I don’t really consider those large. Check out my 4413 videos. Those are what I call large rounds.

I'm thinking about getting this stove but sheesh, at the price they charge for it the ash pan should be included. Otherwise it's a $400 option!
Yea they sure don’t give them away but it is one nice stove
Nice splitter! Does that "standard height" or did you get it raised as an option? I am trying to decide on which model to purchase.
That is an option (8”) from standard. So our table is 34” tall at the bottom of the knife. We had the 2265 with electric motor which was nice but then started getting into more and bigger wood so we upgraded and now can split anywhere and literally anything. The 4413 we use mostly at half throttle because it is fast but nice to have it when you want it at full throttle. Whatever you pick out I was glad I got the high flow. If you call split fire and talk to Dylon he can answer anything you ask. Their customer service is awesome. And I mean AWESOME!! Super great to work with.
@@willowcreekwoods Awesome! Thank you for the wonderful reply. I am hoping to order soon. Trying to decided between the 3000 series or the 4000 series. I really want the 8 inch lift option deciding on the high flow option. I mainly work alone so I might not really need it as it's pretty fast already. Thanks again.
Yea they are already fast from the get go. I usually have 3 people splitting and still don’t go full throttle. So working alone probably don’t need high flow. Now for the 3000 to 4000 series the 3000 series would do anything I need it to but might have to watch when you get to certain rounds the 4000 series who cares put it on pull the lever and it goes. lol. I must add…… to me you get a lot more splitter when going from the 3 to 4 but does a person really need it probably not. We were on the fence about the 8” lift but we are supper glad we got it.
@@willowcreekwoods Thanks for sharing your evening with me :) One thing for sure, they are awesome splitters! God bless & good health!
I bought a 4490 a year too soon . Definitely would have gone with the bigger pump. I did the extra height just like you did. Works great. Went to Paul Bunyan this year and they had that splitter on display. I was thinking it never fails as soon as I buy something it gets upgraded.
Great job! love to see it in action like that.
Sorry to say, but the music was terribly obnoxious! Maybe you chose it to drown out the high pitch of the motor. It did not work, I’d rather hear the motor than both!
We just got a 4413 I’ll be posting some better videos of it with no music lol.
@@willowcreekwoods thank you. I would be very interested in seeing the machine when you post it. Please let us know about the speed of it compared to your 2265 and if the motor is louder or the same. What made you decide to step up so far in machine choices, rather than something Like the 34XX series? If I am correct I think the main benefit, if that, is the 44XX series has a stronger frame. I’m just surprised as to such a big jump up, unless you felt the need. Thank you.
We all know for a fact that chainsaw kissed her in some fashion. The gap she jumped through was so tight and even a split second of a chain tap is enough to do damage. Looked as if she grazed the bar enough to even sling her body a little in the direction the chain travels. Hopefully she’s okay. Looks like she ran it off in decent/good shape. Yikes.
Oh yea. Never seen any blood. She came back that night and the next night and moved 5 babies out.
@@willowcreekwoods What a miracle, my goodness. Super close! On too see another day! How awesome!
thanks for reposting this video, now I know how to get to those converters! I'm sure mine are all clogged up.
How did you get to the catalyst? Did you remove the baffle above those tubes? You show vacuuming them but not how to get to them. thanks,
In this video I just used the small hose until I want to do an actual cleaning of them. I posted a video couple days ago on how to open it up more to expose the cat better. But yes you are correct removing one secondary air tube then you can remove the baffle
Thanks,, I did watch and subscribe @@willowcreekwoods
Thank you for the video. I have the 3490 with the gas engine and enjoy seeing the electric option. Just wish you didn’t have the obnoxious music, it did not let me hear your machine. Thanks regardless
That’s what I want is a 3490. That’s the high flow right
@@willowcreekwoods yes, you are correct. From what I know it’s the same as the 4xxx series but with the 3xxx series frame. After watching all of their machines and seeing hoe they handle most everything thrown at them, I felt I did not need a frame any heavier, just wanted the high flow system. It is a rocking machine and I have not had anything stop it, yet.
Great work!
Thanks!
Do you still use this?
No I do not. Blew snow real good but electric up and down for blower just to slow for me.
Grasshopper snow blower vs 1025r pusher for driveway clearing
Snow pusher. JD was great but I do own a Kioti CK3520se now also.
Looks like a great setup. What's the orange tool in the rear receiver? Don't think I've seen that before.
That is a log dock for when cutting wood. We just never took it out that day. It works great don’t have to cut wood while bent over
Thanks for putting out videos.
