    I appreciate that a high level athlete is trying to improve himself but your speed and explosiveness is something youre born with. You can get stronger and to some extent improve power but when youre in a combat sport where youre cutting weight, they just dont really go together very well.

    George has so many haters it’s awesome cause that’s when you know you doing something right. I got massive respect for both him and Devin Haney, I’d like to see George unify the division in his home country but it’ll be a damn good fight either way. Regardless of who wins, they’re most likely just keeping the belts warm for Loma anyway 😂

      Reportedly George is getting $10 million and Haney is getting $2.8 million. In big-time boxing there is a full-scale war before the actual fight itself, and that may involve "ducking" and all sorts of shenannigans. The so-called "ducking" has paid off, because the Kambosos management team has won the negotiation battle. They may or may not win the fight itself, but they have certainly crushed in the negotiation "war".

    • @theulysses7236
      @theulysses7236 2 роки тому

      It literally is, though. You have two men, they both bench the same. For one man, you increase his pecs, front delts, triceps by 50% overnight. Who presses more? Who can move the bar the quickest? The man with the bigger muscles. For combat sports there obviously is a trade-off between body weight and endurance, but come one. Bigger muscles make you stronger.

      I feel like people just think if you touch weights, you'll magically get big. You got to eat to get big. You are burning calories lifting weights, so if you eat the same as you normally do, add the S&C work, you'll be losing weight at that.

    Man I don’t respect Garcia, Teo, or Haney. Fighting nobodies in a weight class that they’ve overgrown. George is a true 135 pounder that took out the first weight bully, Teofimo. I seriously hope Haney gets humbled and finally grows balls to move up to his actual weight class and fights a threat. Only reason he’s going for kambosos is bc he sees his size. Hope karma knock his ass out and kambosos is that karma. Same with Teo. Weight bullies trying to act tough in a weight class that they don’t even belong in anymore. It’s pathetic and corny as hell.

      But Haney isn’t fighting ANYONE in the top of 135. He’s cutting weight fighting washed up guys and 130 pounders 🙄Haney probably walks around at like 155 so that’s a bit ridiculous. While guys like George is fighting bigger boxers and top 5s. He beat Teo former world champs in a row, then beat Teo who is natural 160 pounder and now wants Haney THEN Loma. Haney for his belt via email and didn’t even defend it against a top 5. Kambosos beats the champion and is defending it straight against a top 3 lightweight . The fanboys who say Haney deserves the undisputed title over kambosos are truly delusional and biased. Haney didn’t have to fight any top five 135 pounders and gets a straight shot at undisputed? Makes ZERO sense to me.

      I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Teo certainly persevered through adversity during the fight; I don't doubt his mental toughness within a a boxing match. The problem is that the reality of what happened--he lost--was inconsistent with an image he had of himself as invincible. Teo needs to embrace the adage that "reality, to be commanded, must be obeyed". He--and his father--need to accept that Teo lost, understand why he lost, and correct those problems before fighting George again.
