My first vehicle was a '64 Scout. Learned a lot about fixing vehicles with that thing, back in my 20's. The vacuum wipers were a trip - running off engine vacuum they'd barely move when driving uphill and would flail wildly when going downhill. One issue was that the wiring was all green-colored, with corresponding numbers printed on each end. Of course, those numbers faded eventually, and it made repairs or upgrades a real issue. Those "hooks" you pointed out are rifle racks, pure and simple. Maybe for fishing rods. The dual gas caps leaked like crazy - my rig always had a stripe of gas on each side where gas would get sucked out and back while driving. The "half a V8" slant4 engine was grossly unbalanced, since they still used the V8 crankshaft and put one cylinder head and four pistons on it. As a result, the engine vibrated like crazy, and I had to crawl under mine and retighten the oil pan bolts as a regular maintenance task. Despite many flaws, the Scout really performed well off road - mine climbed like a mountain goat! I was really happy to get rid of my Scout after a few years of ownership. And now that I have a reliable vehicle or two for everyday use, I wish I had another one to tinker with!

I’m 17, I don’t have a permit or license. My parents told me that they’d buy me a car when I graduate high school. Well I graduated and now they’re telling me they can’t get me a car until I get my permit. So I can still get the car without a permit or license right?

2023 has height adjustment on the driver's seat. Rear seats fold down flat if you remove the headset. On the bottom the the back seat (when folded forward) there are holders/storage for the headrest built into it.

Just recently got a 21 TRD Sport Taco in April after my 2005 LS Silverado took a nasty shit on my while driving, Brakes & Power Steering & Transmission all went at once!~ The Taco though was a Dealership demo vehicle for the Service Manager, Taco had 29K miles on it when I got it. So in reality it is still a new vehicle if what I read was correct!~ Since April I have modified it so much so, it feels more mine now then it did when I got it!~ My Taco & V6 badges were chrome till I got the black out covers for them!~ I guess that TRD did not have power drivers seat!~

A non-prime Prius can drive in EV mode at highway speeds under certain conditions, but only for 2-3 miles. That’s good enough for an average of 60 mpg or more, though.

Their reason for not making a DB8 was stupid Aston could have renamed it or make it because we know the name has nothing to do with the engine that powers it.

Good job on the video, but just a couple things that might be helpful. The reflectors on the back are NOT for finding your lost vehicle in a field haha, but interesting and fun hypothesis. They are to deflect air to keep exhaust for entering the inside, while driving with the back window open. Also, the side sliding windows are found on all 1960-62 Scouts. In 1963 they went with crank windows. The side windows are removable on the 60-62 Scouts, because with the windshield folded down/forward, there would be too much pressure on the side windows, with the top removed as well. 1 more thing, the "blinker holder thing" is actually the license plate light and holder thing 😀 The wipers were mentioned in a previous comment. Again good job on the video, I hope the new owner has a blast with it.

The classic C1, the "facelifted" model with double headlights, believe it was made from 1958 to 1962, in red and white. It's probably not a particularly great (or even good) car, but it's so beautiful.
